I came into this knowing it was tragic but I thought it was going to be a main lead gay couple fighting against…
This is exactly what I thought happened as well. (I firmly believe it was Keng who walked into traffic.) I think not showing us and making us wonder gives it more power. I think that's what they were going for. I could be wrong tho....I need to read the books.
Yes, but if you're looking for anything beyond hugging and hand holding, you'll be disappointed. Some couples are dating but there's no kissing. The straight couple doesn't even kiss.
Sooooo I'm going to be that ONE person....and ask.....why does everyone feel bad for Bas???....I have yet to watch…
That's a good point about love languages. With Teh and Oh there's the giver and receiver. Oh wants to be taken care of and Teh would do anything for him. They want to spend all their time together...literally can't stay away from each other. Also I think Oh likes to be chased. So Bas never had a chance....he's not dominate enough. He's more sweet and cute, which isn't what Oh needs. Like he can really be himself with Teh.
Teh developed feelings much before they got back together. He wrote pages and pages of "Rival" and "Intimate"…
I think I agree with this but I'll have to re-watch it. Their friendship was always intense and a bit obsessive, even when they were younger. I think Teh was attracted to Oh as soon as they started hanging out again. Oh is harder to read but during the boat scene is when he definitely starts thinking about Teh in that way. Maybe because that was the most physical contact so far. Maybe he felt the chemistry between them. (altho I do think Oh fell for Teh partly because he was so good to him) But yeah, the boat scene...maybe his heart was racing lol
