It’s a hot mess but I’m fully enjoying the silliness. What’s wrong with you people that don’t like it?! 😂😂 Things are going nowhere but at least I’m laughing! At least this doesn’t have the slow pacing of Y-Destiny. At least this isn’t as unwatchable as Love Love You 2. At least this isn’t rage-inducing like What The Effing Duck 2. Things could be so much worse!
I haven’t even seen any John Waters stuff...I just know about it. And Yes, even I thought Swap Test was an homage to him 😂😂 the first half of the show was mildly quirky but the second half was seriously WTF.
I've been skipping everything except Din & Than. I think I'll skip that too now - I've had enough BL disappointment…
I usually wait till shows are done airing to watch. But yeah, I feel you. I just finished Y-Destiny and while I loved the characters the pacing was excruciatingly bad lol. Then Nitiman, the ending was meh. Papa & Daddy’s cliffhanger ending ugh. Golden Blood started out strong but I didn’t care for the last few episodes as much. Agree about Be Loved In House. Why Love Why was ok for me, but I did watch at 2x speed.
I’m actually loving Hometown’s Embrace but partly because after watching so many shows in a row with slow pacing, this was refreshing lol.
Wow...this is like if the director fell asleep, they forgot to write dialogue so put music over everything, and like the actors had to wing it and make it up as they go along LOL. I’m not saying this is what happened but it seems like it. The editing was weird or maybe bad or maybe like they didn’t even have an editor lol.
What was good about this...I liked one of the couples. The guys who were in NightTime together. They’re always fun to watch and their story was cute.
Also props to the poor actors for trying. I know it’s not their fault that this show is bad. And I’m not even picky with bl but the probs were just so glaring.
This show has always been pretty bad, but I enjoyed it's quirkiness and silliness up until episode 10. Then it went even further south. At least it had a plot before but once they got to the mansion it's like they're just giving long winded speeches and nothing is happening. Like they were given extra episodes and didn't know what to do with them. The main couple's story is getting lost in all the side character drama. Also their latest intimate scene wasn't as good as their previous ones. Like what happened to their chemistry?? Maybe it was the camera angles. I don't know anymore lol.
