I think the kidnapper plot line is a bit confusing the way they’re telling it. But other than that I have no complaints. Amusing, engaging show. The 4 main characters are very funny. Especially Weir flirting with Punn. Singto is always a joy to watch.

Cute and enjoyable and somehow became one of my fave bl’s. I think part of that was the insane (and convincing) chemistry between the leads. The story was simple but believable and relatable. I liked that it wasn’t overly dramatic but was full of eye candy and sexual tension lol. Nice for a change.
Only complaint is it’s too short. The story could’ve been better with longer episodes. It did feel kind of shallow. If we’d seen more interactions between them it would’ve felt like a deeper connection too.
Definitely want to see more of Kim Yoo Hwan. His acting was great here. Hope he gets more work.
Loving this series a lot. It might not be perfect as far as storylines but the acting and chemistry between the leads are great. Watching Valen fall in love and be nervous around his crush...the actor made it believable. And the actor playing Kaitoon is very expressive and beautiful.
Other things I liked - The fact it focused on work setting more instead of school. Nice for a change.
The ending. Even tho I don’t like slow burns...this worked. It was realistic. They’re cautious not to mess it up. Even tho Valen can be pushy in certain things....I guess when it matters he’s not lol.
The leads characters and chemistry. Found them compelling and sweet. Even tho they had their flaws. Valen’s character growth was quite a lot.
Things I was like HUH- The whole phone situation. Found some of it inconsistent.
You brought someone back to your place to paint, but do you know how old they are before asking them? Ummm. And also WHY. Can’t wait for season 2 to answer this question.
Maybe before a date you should confirm. Cause what if they forgot, died, got in accident, forgot to set alarm, were kidnapped lol. Don’t just show up before confirming. Who does that??? I always text an hour or two before.

Finally!! I’ve been waiting almost a year for this series. Ever since the 10 min trailer / short film came out on YouTube. Rewatched that so many times. Great seeing the shower scene again and now more depth and explanation to the story. The characters are intriguing.

Same! I’ve been watching bl for a little over a year now as well and can tell which Asian language it is. Even like you said Taiwan sounds a bit different from Mainland. It’s really fun. Wish I had the focus to learn these languages but I’ll settle for a lot of random words and phrases lol.

Agree with everything you’ve said. Not convinced the leads feel anything for each other besides physical attraction. It doesn’t show us why they like each other, there’s little dialogue with each other, nothing important is happening between them. Except the stares lol. My biggest issue is that they’re not showing us anything that matters. In general even.
My biggest problem with this show is that you could take 80% of the scenes away and still know exactly what is going on and not miss anything. So it’s a combination of pacing and lack of real plot. I don’t mind the food-making shots and the long stares. But give us some kind of story. There’s too many mundane and meaningless scenes. What they’re choosing to show us is boring. Like the conversations between Aek and his friends are just pointless. For comparison...take the show The Yearbook...some people thought that was slow but I didn’t, because every scene and dialogue were important to the story and the plot was developing.
I DO like the cinematography, the camerawork, the settings, the food, the production, the soundtrack, the actors, especially Mark Siwat. The acting seems ok. Everything is beautiful.
But give us more plot, more dialogue, more meaning. Show us why the leads like each other beyond just physical attraction. I find myself forgetting to pay attention when anyone speaks because I’ve spaced out. I guess I could say I like the show but I’m very annoyed by it at the same time.
Edit: I’ve watched almost every Thai bl in existence so I’m used to slow pacing lol...but man.
Show started out fine the first half. Then somewhere along the way it got super repetitive and a lot felt like filler.
I just stayed for Pitch and Bank to be honest. They were a lot of fun and had good chemistry but they needed way more screen time. Really disappointed in how their storyline was executed. Felt like soooo much was missing. It wasn’t even shown how they got together. Pitch was supposed to prove himself to Bank and we never got to see that. I wish they would give Pitch and Bank their own series. Praying to the BL gods that we get see more of them.
