This was the first time I’ve seen Yang Yang in anything and he was amazing. I’d like to watch more of his dramas. Can anyone recommend a good one? I really don’t wanna see anything with video games so….
I know this was supposed to be a parody. But it wasn’t over the top or exaggerated enough that we could tell that’s what it was supposed to be. And either the references are too vague or I’m just not getting them. I think people that watch a lot of Thai tv might understand this better.
It was slow, confusing, nonsensical and not fun. I liked some of the actors...but that didn’t even help. A big problem I had was that they didn’t make me care about the characters...or anything that was going on. The only one I felt anything towards was Kana. I feel bad for everyone that worked on this. And I like the director, his stuff is usually very funny. But not this time! Damn. I was so close to dropping this but I hate doing that and it was short.
That's one of the things I liked too ,they did not make Toh "more respectable" or "less embarrassing" and "cringe"…
Yes! And I loved that sometimes when Toh would have his glasses off, Nuea would put them back on him lol. Even during kissing. Loved the fact he accepted his nerdiness completely. The entire point of the show was acceptance and tolerance for people’s differences. As well as flaws.
Ok, I had to go look at what the director/screenwriter has done. (Not Peak, the other one.) No wonder! Friend Forever and ‘Cause You’re My Boy ALSO confused me at times and felt like things were left out. But this one takes the cake.
I still liked all of these for some reason. So I guess they had potential. Just developed so ...frustratingly.
He did Lovesick, Make It Right and Waterboyy as well but at least those made sense. Although they also felt long and meandering.
I came to check the comments to see if I was the one going crazy with this show ....nope I see everyone else here…
LOL! I was just thinking of that show and how it gave everyone a headache, trying to understand what was going on because of the terrible subs. This is similar situation. Our brains are futilely trying to figure out the story. BUT NO. There is none.
Milk and Pun are so cute together, but the finale was a bit disappointing. A real kiss seems to be the most terrible…
It’s so weird because I thought that one kiss scene way back in episode 7 was amazing. So wtf happened. Could the actors not do it again? or they just wanted Milk to be overly shy because they think it’s cute? Ugh. It’s not. I was disappointed as well. Their chemistry and interactions were escalating nicely up until the last few episodes. Then seemed to go backwards. I wanted snuggling not foot washing! Lol. Still enjoyed this hot mess just for the main pairing.
The trick is to watch it at 2x speed and let the confusion flow over you. Events don’t matter. Side characters don’t matter. Who are they? What’s happening? Who cares.
Only 3 reasons I watched this. 1. Pun and Milk’s warm chemistry. 2. The way Pun looked at Milk like he was completely infatuated. And like he wanted to eat him. 3. Pun’s squishy cheeks. That man is gorgeous.
So yeah, this was a guilty pleasure that I still enjoyed. And first thing I was excited to watch every Sunday. Pun and Milk’s acting was decent I think. The couple times Pun sang and played guitar were really nice. The directing and screenplay and dialogue tho, please fire whoever was responsible. What was the story even. I don’t know.
Or as someone else mentioned, maybe it was whoever did the editing that was at fault.
