Great series! Thank you very much! I've got some new cdramas to look out for. :D A number of my favorites made THE LIST. I missed part 1. Was Ren Jia Lun (Allen Ren) in that one?
Can you teach me how to act like 39? Srsly, coz I'm so fucking bored to be young.
At age 39, you'll be who you are, just older with more experience and less time to explore. Your personality probably won't change, unless you get a bad head injury. Do things you enjoy; that's what we all want to do, no matter the age. If you don't know what you like, try something new (legal stuff ;) ). Also, keep in mind, the world is still pretty jacked up because of the pandemic; so this isn't really a fun time for most people on the planet, but it'll get better. I hope you find things you're passionate about, that keep you engaged and help you grow. Don't rush AGING, because when you get there, you'll wonder where all the time went and possibly wish you could turn back the clock. Good Luck! Have FUN!
I love Joy of Life and the Untamed! I look forward to checking out the other dramas you mention in this great article. I appreciate and applaud you! Thank you!
This is such a well-written article. Thank you so much! In Mr. Queen, I enjoyed the main character's growing confusion over their gender and sexuality. Korean Odyssey did an interesting portrayal of two characters sharing the same body, one male and one female.
Tolerance does not mean acceptance. I think everyone should be tolerant of everyone so long as they are not harmful,…
Tolerance is borne of powerlessness to change one's circumstance to suit one's preference, and therefore breeds resentment. Acceptance and non-judgement is what is NECESSARY.
As a child with a Japanese mother and a Seabee father, born after WWII in Japan and growing up on military bases…
Sexuality is a spectrum. What attracts us can change; we change. We are not static creatures, but dynamic human beings BEING. YOU define you; feel free to make something up that suits you, that FEELS right TO YOU. I love what you have shared. Thank you!
I haven’t watched this yet, but it’s up next, now that it’s on my radar. The ML looked familiar, so I looked him up. Earlier this year, he played a character called “Kat” in Falling into Your Smile, which was a really fun rom-com, staring Xu Kai. I can’t wait to get started on this one!
Lee Seung Gi has a cameo in The Greatest Love, starring Cha Seung Won. It is funny and also very interesting. One of the characters in The Greatest Love was watching a cartoon on TV that has Son Oh Gong in it. Years later, Lee Seung Gi starred in A Korean Odyssey with Cha Seung Won, playing a character named Son Oh Gong. Interesting, huh?
