As much as I dislike Soo Ah, I gotta say you're probably better off without a guy that leaves you for the prettier girl after a few compliments. As twisted as Soo Ah is, her words really don't have to mean anything really. She never says she likes them romantically and only gives them the most basic compliments. It's just her smiles and eye flattering and the fact that she knows that she's leading them into the wrong direction that makes her so annoying. I can't be that mad because besides Mi Rae and Kyung Suk, all the other victims kinda had it comming for themselves since they were this hypocritical and superficial. (and like I said all the girls that lost their boyfriends were rather inconveniently safed)
I love everything about this besides the product placement. I really don't think they should promote weightloss pills with a girl that struggles under the social beauty pressure and is shown to be bulimic. Seems rather dumb. Generally, the fact that they criticize the beauty pressure on women and then go ahead and show that even Mi Rae and her best friend rather reach for some kind of weightloss detox tea instead of trying to accept themselves for themselves.
After watching episode 33 I now understand why Night turned on XF and feel like he is justified in doing so. Very…
I agree on all that. It seemed to me like poor writing at first, like kind of a hole in the story because it just doesn't seem reasonable to me, that XF, who is portrayed as this strong, bold character with all his morals on the right place and a perfect future successor, chose to stand still and do nothing for his brother who he loves and that he forgets about all his responsibilites the moment he fell for Jin Mi. At the same time, I don't see how Night turned on him out of spite like that because despite the abuse, he seemed to love XF the most and valued him as his family and never saw any fault in XF not really helping him. Now that he lost his mother, it seems so wrong to me, that he would turn on him for a girl. Just as I thought, that it was so out of character for him to manipulate the Water Immortal to fix the marriage instead of trying to win her heart first. I don't really like how they chose to put them against each other and how Night must be the bad one now even though he is the most pitiful character after the Flower Immortal. I think the biggest problem in those characters lies within the fact that they had no ambition at the beginning. XF didn't had a goal before it became to be with Jin Mi and Night didn't had one before it became to be with Jin Mi and then to get his revenge.
I read all you following comments and I definitely agree that XF willfully chose to not do anything. If it isn't poor writing, than I guess it could only be that XF didn't see the importance and the depth of Night's struggles, which really does make him a bad brother. Honestly, the wholes aside, I can't really chose sides because I do understand them both, it's just sad how their relationship has to fall victim to the Empresses schemes. As for the romance part, I am Team Jin Mi, so I'll root for XF because that's the one she loves for now.
I'm partially watching this because I'm an EXO-L (Kyung Soo
Haha, I feel the opposite. I am kinda a little disappointed they didn't chose another male lead. D.O just doesn't really gives of the male lead vibe to me. and I loved Nam Ji Hyun in everything I saw her in.

Pete, gay: does nothing really.
Ae to his friend: no homo
