I'm still really enjoying this. with 45 eps it was to expected that there was to be a lot of struggles for them, but it better goes slow than fast with that many episodes. also, except for QQ everybody is very reasonable and and you can see them have actual character growth.
PH grew up in a women ruled society and still thinks QQ can't do anything. not fighting for herself, talking for herself, deciding for herself. this girl literally went back to HS and he still thinks he needs to rescue her. This is why I love HS so much. He fell for QQ because she is so smart and witty, and now he is so suspicious of her, he can't let his guard down with her once.
too bad for the exes that I'm done with noble idiocy. I feel like knowing he left her because he is sick/was more sick makes him leaving her like that even more dislikable. if you have a lover, they have the right to know and decide if they're going to stay with you or not.
I'm 10 eps in and I'm still confused about the family relations. Matt and Sean are stepbrothers if I got that right, and Pimmy is Matt's sister, but she calls Matt's father uncle...?
I finally realized what I believe this drama is trying to do. The whole time I felt uncomfortable with their relationship, though it was cute, I just couldn't let go of the feeling that it was just too unethical and I kept wondering why they thought of portraying it like that, when even all the supporting characters were against it. And I realized that the drama itself is not problematic, the topic that it handles is. With that in mind, I can finally continue watching without dreading what's to come next. I'm also kind of pleasantly surprised with the twist in ep 20, didn't expect that to happen. I guess they'll end up with each other anyway, and I'm now ready to see how they're trying to convince us. I'm glad tho, that they keep mentioning that they're both sick and that's the reason it escalates, all other characters however know it's definitely wrong.
ep6: I love how Thien has his eyes opened to Moei and finally realizes that he actually knows so little about her and that there is just so much to discover.
honestly, besides the whole doctor-patient thing being already everything wrong with this, I don't think their romance has a good basis as of now, that's why I can't be convinced that this is more than transference right now. their romance seems to be too deeply rooted in the consequences their issues.

wasn't he like 24???
I don't care about what this is based on, I watched melting me softly. so this can't be less disappointing.
