I don't know about this. In the Thai movie, I feel like you could really see her grow not only beautiful but also her character. She became bold and hard-working and she found her interest in fashion, though the guy was her motivation, it didn't seem like he was the absolute centre of her universe. Unlike this trailer. It seems to me, she is just another Oh Ha Ni, that follows the guy to university, not considering her own passion and plans, also her crush on him seem to be extended for way too many years; where in the Thai movie it was only over the span of High School. Also, I'm sure I'm not the only one but what I really loved was that the movie was completely showcasing her range of growth and emotion and you could only guess whether he really liked her or if he was only pitying her, until the end, when it was revealed that he liked her right from the beginning, even before she started to change her appearances for him. It was so innocent and cute. I can't help but think that 35 eps will be just way too long, we're going to suffer for way to long for not enough pay back.
I really wonder what y'all enjoying about this because I'm at ep 9 and I can barely stand how boring it is. I know slow-burn romances exist but at this point I doubt there was just one really meaningful scene between the leads. So far the whole drama is carried by Xia Ke's one-sided feelings for Xing Yun which he had already developed from ep 1. That means we didn't even see him fall in love what I find actually kind of sad.
he did not fucking die at the end, did he?it was not just her reminiscing about him, was it?he got healed after…
no I watched it again, it wasn't her imagination. he put a rose to that house where is grandpa died and then went looking for Ling Xi. Still not a good ending though but better than having him dead.
he did not fucking die at the end, did he? it was not just her reminiscing about him, was it? he got healed after 2 years and they were reunited!!! ugh why did they had to ruin it like that? seriously!ß
I think the killer also fell in love with Dongbaek bc she is nice to everyone and maybe that's why he stopped killing. I quess he murdered Dambi because of her affair with the landlord has his wife suspecting Dongbaek. the Joker is going to be mad because Dongbaek has to close down and maybe that's his only way he can approach her because otherwise he is way too shy. It also would fit with the theory that Park Hongsik is the killer because he seemed very intimidated.
my take was that Hyang Mi washes her hair in the sink maybe? lmao but it could just be that it hasn't been cleaned…
@berrysoda @haruny I suspect the husband of one of the market women that loaned Dambi money a guy suppressing the harsh treatment of his wife, who seems useless and timid, can't do anything right in his wife's eyes, so he has to vent is anger on someone. he may share a similar fate with the landlord in not being taken seriously and whenever someone disrespects him, he kills them - be it a man, woman or child. maybe because they called him a joke
but someone from the most recent comments actually suspects the guy who fixed the sink and it actually makes more sense
I THINK I KNOW WHO THE JOKER ISSo here's my theory:1. In episode 3 we got many hints on who the Joker may be.…
okay, you're theory is better and actually supported but I suspect the husband of one of the market women that loaned Dambi money a guy suppressing the harsh treatment of his wife, who seems useless and timid, can't do anything right in his wife's eyes, so he has to vent is anger on someone. he may share a similar fate with the landlord in not being taken seriously and whenever someone disrespects him, he kills them - be it a man, woman or child. maybe because they called him a joke
maybe this could be the first time that I don't dislike Kim Sun Ho in a role Moon Geun Young I already love, I am very excited to see her again, especially in a drama with a comedy tag
Am I the only one who actually loves Ling Xi? I mean I don't like everything she does but I find her character very realistic. She is neither perfectly innocent, nor is she extremely mean. She can be selfish but she can also reflect on herself; she is loyal and passionate about who and what she loves. At the same time she can be very inconsiderate and self-serving but it is also what let her hit rock-bottom. I find her growth to be very natural.
