i just cannot sympathize with her team. no matter the circumstances they shouldn't have plagiarized anything. being under pressure is no excuse because this outcome was foreseeable and it is actually worse than delaying the designs. and they really just left her with all the mess they created. granted that Ling Xi hasn't been the greatest boss but she was really generous in paying them for their efforts, so since they all worked for money, I don't think their excuses is in any case valuable.
