I was a huge fan of Love O2O and want a new fluffy and easy-to-enjoy romance drama. How's this show?
overrated. i wouldn't call this fluffy. yeah, it is uncomplicated in a sense that there isn't much going on but it's a boring kinda nothing much going on IMO. i liked Love 020, too, and I can tell you certainly that this does not compare. I can't believe this even got an 8.8 rating.
She's just 38? I can't believe she's a year younger than Kim Tae Hee. She already looked older than 38 in My Princess, She even looked older than Song Seung Heon!
always on the hunt for light uncomplicated romcoms, i came across this. was enjoying it at first; plot was interesting, but as i got to episode 12, i found myself switching to random videos to watch instead, a sign that i was getting bored with the story. i felt that the story would have been close to wrapping up all the loose ends by then, so i checked how many episodes more there were, i was shocked to find out it had 46! like i said, the plot was quite interesting, but 46 episodes??? 46 episodes, for such a non complicated storyline was a recipe for a draggy and the usual unnecessary injection of random sub stories which almost always makes the story chaotic, ruining its original plot. so, in short, i dropped it at episode 12.
any suggestions for light uncomplicated but good quality romcoms for me to watch?
less than 12 minutes into the drama, the female lead is already annoying. and she's supposed to be 22 years old. what 22 year old normal female acts like that? classy. not. she's acting like she has some loose screws.
i'm still giving the drama a chance though, for nothing better to watch atm.
UPDATE: Dropping it at Episode 2. I just couldn't find it it me to like the female lead. Too over acting. She really gets into my nerves. This drama reminds me so much of those old Taiwanese romcoms that had exaggerated acting it's not funny.
this drama is deffinitly not an 8.1 for me. i mean, it's ok, if you're looking for something not too intense, or just to kill time. but honestly, there isn't much going on in this drama, it's draggy for the most part even. they could have just made it into a 16 episode instead of dragging the story but not adding anything interesting to it. the ending was meh, too. i dunno if in china they prefer these kinds of stories, but why do their dramas seem to be more of the darker or sad or even uneventful endings? this drama in particular could have been a very happy ending but they still chose to go the sad route before the happy ending, which made its final unexciting.
i watched this just because of zhao lusi. love her. i think she's so cute, acts very well, too. the male lead was so stiff in his acting stiff (yeah), some actors could all it off, but sadly not him. and the "hands in pocket ALL. THE. TIME." fad should end now. like, who does that in real life?
This drama was nice....definitely one of the better one’s.....but 8.9 is crazy exaggeration. There are much…
true. deffo not a 8.9. it isn't that much fluffy of a drama to begin with, which was what i was looking for. no fuss, yeah, but to the point that for the most part, there's not much going on. bordering dull even. come episode 21, i've lost most interest, and i've only come that far because the male lead is good looking. the female lead, on the other hand isn't much of a looker. i dunno about you, but when i watch dramas to relax, i wanna watch leads that are pleasing to the eyes. but that's just me. personal preferences. and her role comes accross to me as annoying from time to time. so i'd say, 7.5.
This is such a beautiful story.. short and sweet yet so very deep.. so much lessons to learn. It's not just a story about love, but of life itself. That sometimes, in life, we get so caught up with all that's happening around us, we get so wrapped up in ourselves, that we forget what's most important. We take for granted the most basic but essential things in life. This story makes you pause and think about such things. You may think it's a simple story, but if you think hard enough, you could relate to almost every scene, almost every character, or at least, one or two situations has been in our thought at least once. A lovely story that makes you reflect about life, basically.
whoa, that's interesting... I definitely could've saw him as an idol
good thing he did. look at him now. he's got dramas one after the other, good ones at that. only thing is, i hope he gets his nose redone, it's kinda wonky, it's distracting. same with gong hyo jin's.
definitely not for those who crave for drama-filled love stories. we all are looking for different kinds of stories, we all have different preferences. some thrive for drama and conflicts, some just wanna watch some well made refreshing kind of stories that would make them forget about real life's "drama". and this story is of that kind. it tackles the different characters' life challenges but without the intense conflicts that are too unrealistic for any normal person to go through is his lifetime. isn't life chaotic enough to still wanna watch something heavy? i don't. but then again, it's all about preferences. nothing wrong with any of that.
Illogical premise, extremely overacting male lead, awkwardly overacting female lead.
I could overlook the supernatural stuff and all that, it is a drama afterall, but I could not comprehend how LDW's character be (OR seemed to be from the flashback replayed over and over) normal, all of a sudden turn into this apathetic, robot-acting, a**hole? There MIGHT be an explanation somewhere along the drama (although if there was, I do not think however grave the "reason" is, it could not have resulted into how the Joo Hong Bin character acted. But since I couldn't take any more of the crap, I stopped at the middle of episode 3. I watched this, albeit all the negative comments I read here, for lack of what I thought more interesting dramas. Bad decision. I wasted 2 1/2 hours of my time on this.
Advise: Thinking of watching this? DONT. Just PLEASE DONT.
it is a good story, well, it's a typical taiwanese drama story with the rags to riches guy and a dumb innocent female. like, i'm sure even a common taiwanese girl aren't THAT innocent, what more a rich one? and this girl even spent so many years in the states and visited some other countries, like for her to be that clueless you'd wonder how she was able to live. she acts like a child sometimes you'd wonder if she's retarded or something. the actress' acting isn't that great either. good thing the story itself had quite interesting twists, or else do not bother if you cannot stand dumb female leads.
hilarious! the story is nothing extraordinary but still they made it light hearted and funny. did not expect to see myself laughing my lungs out that much. some scenes were even cliché but the actors acting pulled through every time. a must watch movie if you just wanna lounge around and have a good laugh for sure.
