aha i had the same thought too! the way they made the cliffhanger kinda seemed like he was somehow disheartened after seeing his homie hug his "wife" when he ordered woobin to seduce the empress in the first place lol

did lee hyuk and woobin plan to get yura back in the palace?? lee hyuk wasn't fazed when yura walked in during the conversation.. kinda sus bc lee hyuk was so adamant on making yura suffer. last scene of ep 26 was just weird. that entire ep had a lot of twists and turns i couldn't keep up lmao

so my initial thought about this season seems to be proven correct: season 2 is a filler to introduce new characters + expand on a new plot for s3. guess directors and screenwriters didnt want to continue w the plot (was there even any??) from s1 and decided to start an actual expandable plot. nonetheless, it wasn't a lackluster season; i did expect better, but met w a satisfactory job. thankfully my precious agent jin lived :')) wish to see him in the next season too along w dkw and kkj. cant wait for s3 and hopefully we get mjh back!

knew the moment agent jin suggested to go back to his place and dig deeper into that dark web, it would be danger for him oml.... hopefully nothing happens to him bc i completely love his character pls :((

the ending of ep 8 was confusing ??? so all this time, eulsoon was the "unlucky child" and not yoo phillip??? or did phillip's original mom abandon him for eulsoon bc she's the "lucky child"?? can someone explain the situation to me omg

long story short, the "elders" want to control the government and the nation. i don't know much about business and the terms said on the show regarding the cold sale, but from my understanding, the elders bought public debts in bulks and plan on using it against the government by suddenly dropping the debts (cause and effect; if they drop and would take a huge hit on korea's economy even though only a few billion dollars was taken). the government won't have a choice but to negotiate with the elders to fix the situation so that the economy wouldn't be destroyed.

finally finished! the plot will take you to journey omg if you're thinking of watching this drama, make sure you contain yourself from the chances of fast forwarding through episodes. it will drag, but i assure you it will become better. the ending is making me expect for a s2?

i usually despise s2's of any drama bc they always seem to not reach my expectations, but as long as they keep the same characters and don't stray away from the plot, i don't see anything wrong w another season!! (with that ending, mr. oh is most definitely not dead!)

i really expected the mr. seo case to drag since it's related to baek beom and kang hyun.... let's just say i'm glad they didn't bc i would've dropped this right away... so far the show's running smoothly primarily bc kang hyun is ~temporarily~ (or not??) out of the picture. current case is jacked up tho... and the fact that that same situation happen in real life is absolutely insane

nothing new here. just kang hyun being blinded by hate and emotions. he’s completely failed to prosecute rationally.

omg you basically touched on every point, but for it me it’s also when the main characters—who have never seen, talked, or interacted with each other—just have !! to be related somehow, whether they are lost/forgotten childhood friends, through family acquaintances, and/or same friend(s), etc. the chances of this happening in real life is so slim that i always find myself shaking my head when any of this happen lol

i was afraid the ending would be angst just like rooftop prince that’s why i was a little hesitant to start this drama, but i was completely wrong! came to love the chemistry between the two main leads although the beginning was rough, everything came together perfectly in the end!

also !!! kang hyun needs to stop putting blame on dr. baek for every inconvenience that occur in his life just because he can’t accept the fact his brother committed suicide and it wasn’t dr. baek’s fault smh

extremely infuriated that the case with ma sungjae ended just like that.... i mean those four boys deserve to be punished for bullying or juvenile time !!! and the fact that the mom wasn’t charged with anything for making her son drink those medicine when it’s banned in the country (even if she didn’t know) is also irritating !! the whole episode feels like there’s a lot of plot holes and hopefully they go back to that part towards the end and give us a better ending smh

a medical examiner and a prosecutor sounds like a headache of a duo, but surprisingly their personalities balance each other’s and i’m incredibly hooked!!
