just finished and i want to start by praising the entire team 🥹 everyone did an amazing job with their characters bc i felt a lot of emoting through each and every one of them. even the villains in the show did a great job bc i was really pissed haha😭 this was a really good drama that focused on family issues which i enjoyed sm!

i think it’s because of censorship they left out what he did and what type of person he really was. in the drama his character seems to have remorse and ashamed of his behavior. i will say it’s easier to sympathize with him based on his drama character but not his novel character. although, i can tell he’s sorry in the drama but i still think what qingyu did was right. the family would’ve still been treating him like this treasure of a son when he ruined (and them) someone’s life. like someone said below, it wasn’t just meant for him but the family too.
