so excited to see xinxin in a wuxia again and anyu's first wuxia!!!!! AAHHHHH

1a. i feel like there was a scene before the bus scene where they couldve resolved the misunderstanding bc it felt so sudden, bc rightfully(!!) they wouldnt hang out w eo after knowing both have a partner bc duh boundaries. i feel like she slapped him bc the kiss felt impulsive / spur of the moment type of thing like acting on old feelings without resolving anything, if she gave in then it'll just drag them back into that toxic emotion driven cycle you mentioned 😭

1.b i feel like they both cant let go of eachother and i feel like after the scene where zs sent the video there was a BIT of hope that they couldve gotten back tgt bc dj is a hopeless romantic afterall LMAO theyre much older and mature now if they can communicate w eo i feel like theyd be fine. when dj said 'you idiot' i felt like she was calling out how he's still stuck in the past,, thinking the kiss could mend them back together. the hug felt like an act of empathy (maybe even pity) bc she can see that his heart is still with her

2. i felt like a scene was cut out too here.. they had so much to resolve before coming to that conclusion lol i think its ab signing copyrights for the novel to be adapted to a movie. i think dj was annoyed w the 1yuan thing bc it shows that zs is still infatuated w her and would give her the world which technically put her in a hard spot emotionally 😭
