why is the storyline and lines so cringe ://////// the cast is sooooo good but why are they given such shitty lines, im on ep2 and the storyline and genre is just everywhere like what is happening im sorry

after watching kdramas for 7 years since i was a kid, i can tell which dramas are easily a masterpiece even though i believe that some dramas that went big are overated, but this is certainly not one of them. I believe that it has the potential of being the next crash landing on you masterpiece, the plot was interesting and kept to the end, it made me on hook on whats about to happen, the OST is just another masterpiece like our beloved summer, it definetely resonated with the audience with its ambience music. The love story also developed quite well, because I watched this drama all in one go, I used to think that the love story would be developed kinda weird or too fast or too sudden, but this drama perfectly portrays the hate to love from HW even in just a few eps. Last but not least, the ending was a really nice wrap up, it gave a general concept of everyone's life after that and the embodiment of the eternal love between HW and HI even after death is just amazing. I loved this kdrama, definitely a rewatch in the future! BUT ALSO, im so mad that no one realised how all the cameos or special appearances of certain actors, like go gyu pil and im chul soo banding tgt after crash landing on you ( the ones following HW ), the mentions of crash landing on you, the cameo appearances of jo se ho, nam chang hee and hong jin kyung ( the agents ) from my love from another star, vincenzo! and the woman who beat up moh seul hee in prison whom i THINK was an antagonist figure from taxi driver season 2

as she has said she thinks that there were too many misunderstandings and miscommunications that led their marriage astray, including the incident of the miscarriage its because that she blames herself for it that she felt like everyone in this world should be blaming her for it even though in truth HW doesn't, and ofc as she has a lot of pride she wouldn't ask for his help and comfort and immediately shuts him out

i really hoped to see more into the new lives of ha eun gyeol and oh eun yu buttttt i still loved it one of the best kdramas of 2023 i would say, it has a filling storyline and goos OSTs

bruh what made the writers think that the flower patterned shirt looks good on Kim Do Ha than the original shirt in ep10????

facts i really hoped that she would play more diverse roles because seeing her like this again seems a bit boring to me :))) but yea she hasn't moved since what's wrong with secretary kim

OK I LOVE THIS MANHWA SOOOO I REALLLLY HOPE THEY PORTRAY THIS WELLL, and i love the pick for song ha hun for jung soo min like i TOTALLY see it but for lee yi kyung i think its cuz i've only seen him in comedies so it looks really new for him to play a playboy role so im looking foward to it. I like park min young's pick but i feel like she always plays the business woman role that works in the office and this is exactly that so i really wanted her to play more diverse roles but i mean she fits the genre so thats fine too :)

im on the first ep and i gotta say that i love woo bin's husky voice :)

people that are contemplating whether to watch this or not please read my comment !!!!!!

a lot of people in the comments are saying how their relationship progress is really slow and getting nowhere that's why a lot of people are dropping it but personally i believe that this is the whole point of the kdrama so im gonna list and argue why you should watch this :

1. Talks about the reality of breakups
So this kdrama seems like it is going nowhere because the leads havent gotten together yet even at ep9 but if they got together now then THAT would be weird because like it says in the drama the ones that are broken up with are the losers and this portrays that cuz they are the ones being left heartbroken and being broken themselves cuz that's the reality of a breakup you go crazy or depressed, you don't just randomly fall in love with another person

2. Bora being clingy is OK ( SPOILERS POSSIBLY )
SO after bora broke up she was crying outside her ex's house making her look clingy and pathetic even though she was supposed to be an independent woman. LIKE a person should be allowed to break down once in a while especially when you've been hurt that much like this girl was supposed to have her final chapter just to hit rock bottom, i didn't like her in that scene either but that's the reality of it you can't expect her to stay strong at every occasion a person has their ups and downs and this is her down :)

3. Pure comedy and its HATE TO LOVE TROPE
So i was feeling really down today cuz of personal reasons but watching an ep of this kdrama immediately lightened up my day, i haven't seen a good rom-com such as this in a long time and my favourite trope is hate to love and this completely nailed it!! I loved how he was there for her every down moments and was there to comfort her but also have their little bickers to make it entertaining, there weren't any scenes that made me blurt out laughing but it was enough to make me smile today and forget about my problems !!

ok i think that uri doesn't actually have feelings for sang jin its just the writers that are trying to lead us towards that direction and for me if bora and SH got together now then THAT would be weird ofc they're still hung up on breakups because thats the reality of a relationship, kdramas mostly portray relationships as short and very surface leveled, but this shows the actual reality of a breakup like you don't move on from people that quickly and immediately fall for another that's why deborah knew she didn't like SH but she just wanted attention

I think this drama was fairly executed it would’ve been better if YHW asked SMY for coffee at last tho anddd i don’t understand why everyone would just forgive YHW for being an accomplice like :)))) no jail and no one hates him like how

I will ask this :) i havent watched this drama but was this drama ruined cuz of the FL’s awkward acting? Cuz i’ve watched her other dramas and uh well :) if not then why is it bad, thank you!

this drama was very well delivered definitely one of the top dramas i've come to watch recently, the plot was meticulously well planned it also gave a very satisfying ending to both ML and FL's revenge, the ML's revenge was short but it also gave us enough details for our own interpretation of what happens next. I also really appreciate the romance of it all, i liked how there was any scenes where it displayed the ML being a burden to the FL such as threatening the FL by using the ML cuz it would really stray from the revenge aspect of it all and those type of scenes would probably lead to some nonsense romance stuff :/ But one thing i hoped for more was probably a scene of how Hye jeong and sara ended up at last cuz we know what happened to them but i would like some visual representation but overall one of the best dramas ive seen since 2125

i dont know why are there a lot of negative comments on here, personally i think this drama really brings me back to the old kdramas where everything is light hearted and funny with an especially unique personality of the male lead. These dramas are quite hard to find cuz everyone is so focused on "realistically speaking" dramas. But these types of kdramas is what makes a kdrama a kdrama in the first place "cringe" and "unrealistic", yes it may be but wouldn't you still want to live and experience that again. Basically like "business proposal"

cuz basically the whole significance of the drama was already mentioned from the start where duk im wants to be free to do whatever she wants, she would rather sit in the library as a young maid with no entitled position than a servant to one person for the rest of her life with no say in whatever matters. She refuses him because she knows that if she accepts his love she'll be forever tied down to the palace as she cannot leave nor have any freedom because she is tied to the customs. At the beginning, it was mentioned that she actually wanted to spend to rest of her years retired with her friends and live in a house together but now she is unable to do that. The whole entire drama basically talks about the imprisonation of a palace
