Ok there are a few plot holes but overall it was very entertaining and I loved it. The series didn’t shy away from some shocking story lines, there were some laugh out loud moments (for me) and I found it really down to Earth, it didn’t try to be something it couldn’t. I really hope there’s a season 2.
My love of all things K/T/C/J drama took a huge dip last year after watching Twelve with Ma Dong Suk and Park Hyung Sik. Agent from Above finally gave me the entertainment value and vibes I was hoping to see in Twelve. Well done to all involved.
The first few episodes were good for me, I’m now on episode 6 and it feels repetitive. I dont want to drop it, I just need something more at the moment so I’m going to pop it on hold and watch A Murky Stream. Going by the description of A Murky Stream I might need some light and fun entertainment afterwards so hopefully this will suit my bill at that point.
Just finished and loved it. This is the type of series that got me watching Kdramas 4 years ago. Pure escapism, humour, amazing acting/chemistry and IMO a fun story. It’s the sort of thing that doesn’t exist in British TV. In my Fantasy genre list of favourites, this probably comes second after Goblin and in my huge list of all my Kdrama watching probably comes in somewhere between 15 and 20 in my overall favourites.
After struggling through 6 eps, I waited for the last two and planned to watch both on Monday. Alas I got through 20 mins of ep 7 and wondered why I was making myself suffer. Can’t believe I dropped it so close to the end but life is too short.
For those wanting to cut back their addiction to KDramas this is the best cure. Having watched/binged them continuously for 3 years, I’m now only watching one a week. I’m sure Taxi Driver 3 will get me back on board in November.
I don’t think the issue lies with the actors’ performances. The problem is with how the director manages the…
Totally agree. I love the actors and the outline of the story. I do wonder if they filmed enough for 16 eps but it was cut down to 8 and if that’s the case it’s been a huge injustice. If we are seeing everything filmed then that’s a production and directors fault. I really am not enjoying the directors shots nor the final edit. BUT I need to finish it, mostly due to the actors and secondly to see how they can possibly tie this up in 2 more episodes.
Mirr fell for the hot bad boy Ogwi, ok that was a start of learning SOMETHING about the characters... I feel like…
It feels like they are building a jigsaw with random scenes but have lost 75% of the jigsaw pieces. But don’t worry I’m sure they’ll answer everything in the last two episodes 🤣
Great cast and the story outline seems good but shame about everything else. What happened in Ep 6 should have happened way earlier in the show. However, I have no investment in the characters so the death and reactions meant nothing. More character development in previous episodes would have made a huge difference!
No development is my biggest gripe. My other disappointments include the male wigs (I know it’s picky but they are bad…). Not forgetting the direction, the slow panning across each characters face in each scene makes me want to hit the fast forward button and the slowness everyone takes to react to any threat! Oh and the car scene with Taesan and Won Seung heading to save Marok felt so so awkward, maybe they were trying to create tense and fear but it was more just like awkward silence.
I like cops shows, loved Undercover Highschool and enjoyed Good Boy but this one hit differently. Very serious and dark and very meaningful. My fav for 2025 so far.
I had out this off due to some of the comments on here and the low ratings, just finished it and WOW! I loved it but clearly not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s the rise of the anti-hero, it’s dark, funny at points, violent and a bit graphic. Most unique drama I’ve watched in a while and reminded me a bit of Vigilante but better.
I love this type of series - entertaining, thrills, action, great actors and of course some silly bits. Reminds me of Fiery Priest, Crash and Taxi Driver. And whilst I hate that I can’t watch it all at once, it means I can watch the more serious older dramas in between this fun one.
Amazing, first time I’ve said that I enjoyed the sequel as much as the original. Great writing, great acting and great moves. The wait was so worth it!

Give it a try and make your own mind up.
