They did show jin soo living in big house alone and even has a maid who cooks for him. I wonder if he's really…
I thought he was maybe Song’s real son? You never see them interact in the series an when there is a discussion about Yun being Somg’s son, Jin soo answered it in a strange way IMO. Hopefully there is a series 2 to tie up these loose ends!
I enjoyed this, the acting was amazing, the OST was great, the story was fine but they dragged it out too long, I felt the number of episodes was too many to keep up with the number of twists that were included. 10-12 episodes would have been better.
It’s clear they hope for a second season, and I would watch a season 2. ‘Dong Ju finds out his brother has died and everyone says it’s suicide. He knows his brother wasn’t alone when he died which is the relevance of the text and photo. He is out for revenge… again!’
Side note - I rated it 9/10 as, like I said I did enjoy it and I eagerly awaited each episode. I always rate dramas 8 and above if I finish the series, if I’m not enjoying it I stop watching and rate it below 8.
Really enjoyed this and 6 episodes was a perfect number of episodes, anything more and I would have forgotten some of the twists and turns. Every twist and every suspicion you might have is explained and nothing is unanswered by the end. There is no conversation or scene within the drama that is pointless so make sure you don’t skip past anything.
The quality of production and actors was well above average IMO. I’ve watched quite a few of dramas with Park Hae Soo and others Lee Hee Joon and also Chimera with both and always liked them as actors. Also always get them confused as they are so similar…. which I thought was just me but clearly they are very similar (happy it wasn’t my imagination).
I loved this series and didn’t want it to end. Funny, romantic, good plot, amazing actors and good ending what more can we ask for apart from Season 2.
Defo one of my favs, I tend to like cop shows with humour thrown in and I’m not a big romantic fan unless it’s done as a secondary plot.
Song Joong Ki and Lee hee Jung both do an amazing job here and I really liked the artistic flair the director brought to it. BUT for me, it was too short and sometimes didn’t explain itself enough. I put that down to the break they had to do for Covid 19 and that they had to do what they could with what they had and if that assumption is right, they done a great job. I’d still recommend it and I’d say that if you watch it, watch it knowing how hard it would have been to complete the production of it.
Having watched Squid Game for the first time last month, it was still fresh in my head. IMO this was a perfect follow up, it was never going to be as ‘unique’ as the first season and thankfully it wasn’t just the same story with different characters. I can’t even compare them both to say which I prefer, I’d say it’s a story and universe that’s continuing to grow in every episode and I look forward to season 3.
Loved the first episode of S2, can’t wait for the next one. Stand out points within this perfect episode:
- the Direction, that shot around the building clearly with some kinda drone camera was simply outstanding. After watching the episode I went back on watched that part a number of times. - the music, same as S1 but sounding better (probably just me excited for it). - Father Michael’s psycho laugh and the way he called out ‘Gerald’.
Wish all eps dropped at once but then it would be over too soon.
Finally got around to watching it for the first time outwith all the hype and excitement. I have to say that I didn’t expect to like it. However, characters and their back stories were great, actors were amazing, a wee bit predictable here and there but I really enjoyed! Looking forward to 2/3 seasons.
From the bottom of my heart I tell you do not watch this! if you do, try to drop it by episode ten. Just go watch…
So was on episode 3 of The possessed and was finding it kind of dull, so checked out all the reviews and wondered if I should keep reading them. Then I read your comment Nat, paused watching and started watching the Guest which I have now finished, thank you so much I wouldn’t have watched the Guest otherwise and it was fantastic! Don’t think I’ll return to the possessed.
