I understand that most of you liked this show... but I'm looking for comments on the negatives you found, if any.…
An absurd amount of coincidences and childhood meetings. An unnecessary focus on political/conspiracy stuff. A lack of resolved feelings between the "antihero" and his sometimes-friends. A lot of cheap tricks used by the filmmakers, usually as the end of episode cliffhanger.
This was a bad crime Drama...4/10The first couple of episodes was nice. Then it went complete downhill. Many plot…
"But what happend in the end? He murdered his own Father! Patricide is unjustifiable, even if the father is a monster." & "Just after they made him more humane. They removed that completely at the end. By making him commiting a even more heinous crime." Isn't that just like, uh, your opinion? You state it like a universal fact. Killing innocent and pure people seems much more villainous (to me) than killing an evil father he never met and definitely wasn't raised by.
"And then his father will live till old age regretting what he put his son through or even be handed the death sentence afterwards." Without emotions, he's not capable of regret, outside of a selfish context.
One thing I didn't understand is why Ko Moo-won did not yell Jung Ba Reum's name directly during the live show…
Father Ko was threatened with the life of Han Kook, the abducted boy, and additionally had no interest in perpetuating the cycle of wrath and vengeance.
Euhm since when does the media care about morals? Views means money, so they do everything to attract viewers.…
"I will give you an example of another famous drama. In that drama the media fueled the anger of the people against the main suspect of the murder of someone very famous in Korea." What's that one?
Overall really good drama, the ending unfortunately was way too sloppy, still the best crime kdrama out there
Can't say I liked the ending but it is *way* better than Black, and in Black the director re-wrote Choi Ran's originaly ending because that was even worse.
I think, that was the point of her character. She was as sick as all the killers in the series. Maybe she had…
I preferred her as "evil politician who will do anything to reach their goals". I didn't find it plausible that she both wants to be killed by a serial killer so her utopia idea can be achieved, but also bribes the president to pardon her for her crimes.
And her OZ helpers are like absurd caricatures: each of them lost a family member to a serial killer, so now they will engage in just as bad acts themselves.
It wasn't on Netflix AFAIK, and Netflix has been removing a LOT of tvN dramas. Flower of Evil or Chicago Typewriter for example. Vincenzo and such remain though.
Even though the characters said that Ba Reum’s good self was just because he had Yo Han’s brain, did anyone…
He acted like a monster naturally (massacring the rabbit, killing his step-father'd beloved pets as revenge, thinking digging him a grave was a fitting way to punish his step-brother for something he never did).
The brain transplant gave him emotions as the foundation of possibly being a good person. Before he got emotions, he was either neutral or vengeful, but all his good acts in the neighbourhood were part of a malicious act.
After the brain operation, he could largely control his inner monster, not fully, as exploited by OZ' machinations. I assume he was taking aggression-enhancing drugs when he killed the mother cat.

- don't use any social media
- don't read the cast list right before watching something

Here everything is blurry teddies.

I thought you meant there were characters that disappeared from the story entirely like the ground had swallowed them up.
