I think that in all the netflix dramas some character smokes... in other company's dramas there are not so many scenes of the character smoking, or when they are about to light the cigarette something stops them

Why do kdramas treat suicide and suicidal thoughts like a crime?
I think it is a belief that people created to avoid more suicides. Although it is a bit sad, you are depressed, the only thing you want is to be happy and on top of that in the afterlife you are also punished. It's like “don't kill yourself or you'll go to hell” :/
