Finally finished it after dropping it for months. Gonna be honest with how I feel about it, don't care if yall…
I feel the same thing too, but what I was told was that this show was suppose to 16 episodes long, but budget cuts were given to Boys Over Flower Thailand. This is why the ending, in my opinion, feels incomplete with an opening ending. The ending tries to tell us that in society, there will always be a big badder boss that controls everything. Simply put. Tawi is just a scapegoat. I think if anything, they should have had an ending for all those bad guys and Tawi for trying to kill them instead of leaving an ending where he serve no justice.
Another thing is that Thailand have their own censorship as well. Anything too political won't be aired. For example, if Buddhist monks were shown negatively, it is highly possible that it won't air on Thai TV. I don't know too much about Thai censorship, but this is what I was told and read about.
Is there anyone still able to purchase the boxset collection? It's really sad that it's been sold out and seems like GMMTV won't restock it again. I should have re-order it then, but I didn't had the money to support then.
Did they add some things? Like the last two episodes were cut and I wondered if they were going to change anything.
From what I heard was that it was originally 16 episodes, but they had budget cuts for this show. So, this is why the ending feels kinda incomplete somewhat. They will likely just re-air the same as it is before.
Just finished episode 2 and I'm really liking this lakorn so far! I kinda wonder if its going to be 10 episodes long, but the story does seem to move fast. This lakorn kinda reminds me of the recently aired Thai lakorn called "The Love Proposal," although it has its own differences and it focuses on the gay romance. I really like the brother bond of Tian and Yang. They don't have any hatred towards each other and see each other as brothers. 😍
I also just love the vibe of this lakorn being set in the 1930s-40s and now, I can't wait for "I feel you linger in the air" as well. I was waiting for more of Tian's and Jiu moments, but I guess I'll have to wait until next week for that unfortunately 😔 . Film is so cute and has an innocent, but curiosity vibe to his look, so I think he fits well playing as Tian.
-edit- never mind. Someone already edit the story on here. Now everything make sense lol. Does anyone know if…
Ohhh. That makes a lot of sense. No wonder Tian's dad told Bua to back, but she didn't want to. Anyways, thanks for the clarifying it with me. I'm loving it so far! Going to watch episode 2 to see how everything unfolds.
Alright. I just watched the first episode and I like it so far! Honestly, I feel like the tone of this series…

Does anyone know if Tian's father had 3 wives? I was a little confused about that part because 3 women seemed to be close to Tian's father. Also, what the family's business about? What do they sell? I know that it's known as the "5 Dragons."
Alright. I just watched the first episode and I like it so far! Honestly, I feel like the tone of this series is foreshadowing an emotional sad journey. It's possible that any BL fans who watch this show should have an expectation that the ending may be sad.
This story seem to be set in World War 2 era where the Japanese came to Thailand as well.
Episode 1 doesn't really get into Tian's character and his love interest yet, but it's more about Tian's families and their company (?). In fact, I feel like there are going to he nice brotherly bond between Tian and Yang. For those who watched the first episode, I need some clarification because I watch episode 1 with Chinese subs. I only understand Chinese here and there, but I got the basic story from it lol.
I am sure they'll sub the episodes later like they did on 'Rak Diao'. I mean why would they give an English title…
The english subtitles will definitely come out slow, unless there are fansubbers subbing it. I've seen the Chinese subbed version is updated today, so now I'm debating whether to watch it in Chinese or in English. My Chinese isn't as good, so IDK whether I want to watch knowing half of what they are saying only. Hopefully someone will update English fansubs on here.
Its gonna be those story where it ties you to the moment and the story, and its going to make you really move. I'm ready to cry and prepare myself if it's a sad ending. 😭 I really can't wait until next year!!!
Star Hunter haven't produced a good BL show lately, but this one looked like they invested in a lot more. Hopefully, the plot and the show is as promising as the new trailer! I'm excited!
But don't they sub 2 or 3 months after airing? It's been like that with the last lakorns I watched. I'm grateful…
Yea. One31 is pretty slow at subbing their shows honestly lol! I hope that fansubbers will pick up the show, so that we can follow along each week. I really hope so!
Not every show needs to have complicated plots. Just because this one basically boils down to boy meets boy, discovers…
I agree. Sometimes we just want some layback shows where we dont have to think much. Just a nice sweet romance and hot guys to watch. If you think about it, there's many shows where the plot is literally a copy and a paste with new casts. People still watch it. I would still watch it if I enjoy watching the casts.
