Did you not see the spoiler button?!
I didn't edit it because I didn't initally mark it as spoiler, It was marked as a spoiler when I initally posted it (it even SHOWED as a spoiler after I came back to view this comment section after seeing your initial comment) and I clicked on edit to confirm AGAIN that the the spoiler option was already chosen.. Maybe it wasn't showing for everyone else like it did for me which like I said is something you need to take up with the site mods not me.

Why the heck would I have to lie about something like that like the content on this site is that dang serious and I would have zero issues admitting that I made a mistake even though you were rude in your initial comment. If you still don't believe me, it's really not my problem, I know the truth and my conscience is clear. I'm done with this back and forth, you can go ahead and have the last word if you want.

Did you not see the spoiler button?!
My comment is under a spoiler and I chose that option when I initially posted that comment 21 days ago. it’s also showing that’s it’s under a spoiler as I’m looking at it right now. If it’s not showing for you or whoever else, take it up with the site mods, do not come for me like that.

Title Familiar Wife Spoiler
I really enjoyed the genuine slice of life feel to the drama and characters but I’m still curious about his original wife and kids. Do they still exist in the “original” and at the end, alternate timeline the drama started with? Also I didn’t like how he evaded her question of why he abandoned his “original” wife in the last episode, it just felt like the writer wanted to gloss over it.

It's my understanding that Netflix historically has been very hands off in the creative process of things they've…
It’s living up to the hype almost everywhere else (Including among Koreans) but here to be honest. Reception has been mostly positive but either way it’s just the first episode, it could get much better or worse. Same goes for dramas that start out so well.

Scenario and setting (especially of the 1st episode because of the great cinematography which BS didn't focus on as much) maybe but the writing more engaging than Before Sunrise??? Some of y'all sometimes....

I'm gonna wait this time. I've fallen into too many hype traps featuring great first halves. The second is the…
Yep, kdramas have been REALLY bad about that lately and on top of that i'm especially worried with this writer. I think the first half will be good because SHK was holding up the script with pride but it was most likely the script for the first 5-6 episodes. We'll see how the rest goes. We already met the mean ass (ex) MIL and her useless son and we all know how it could easily go south with those character being in the picture. I'm trying to stay positive but i've been burned so many times.

I always hear about that but honestly, i've never had that problem (and I promise i'm not bragging). I just generally see kdramas as a source of mild entertainment so my standards are fairly easy to meet. I just want to be entertained and if I get to experience much more like I did with Secret then that's even better! The issue I personally have these days is the choices between these rare "gem" dramas like My Mister, most of the dramas these days are barely entertaining or enveloping like dramas used to be (and I honestly watch older dramas and enjoy them more with their obvious flaws and all). Some start out really interesting then fizzle out or just fall apart and they just rarely keep my interest and keep me gripped nowadays.

I will just say this, this is my number one Korean melodrama of all time. That's all. Bye. :D
Same!! It's not close to a masterpiece like some people expect "good" dramas to be nowadays (which I personally find exhausting not going to lie) but it pulled me in and took me on a roller coaster of emotions that I very rarely experience with kdramas.

"I could feel literally no chemistry between either of the main leads"

I'm sorry, when I read this, I knew we were on very different wavelengths. I thought they had phenomenal chemistry. The 2 actors are actually known for their great chemistry in the multiple dramas they've acted in.

OMG and this is turning out to be one of the best dramas, Their is absolutely nothing vulgar about this drama.…
That's great to hear but I just need to know, Is it unrequited love the whole time he is underage (and i'm not talking where the moment he becomes of age, they pounce on each other)? Does the teacher develop any romantic feelings for him while he is still young?

Those interested in this drama: REQUEST IT in as many streaming sites as you can please and thank you!
Do you know of any legal sites that have currently airing japanese dramas for the US?

This is something that plagues most rom-coms. When the couple get together too quickly (like here), they need…
This is why I wish many rom-com kdramas would be shorter. 12-14 episodes max and shorter when needed.

Title The Novelist
So I’m officially obsessed with Takezai Terunosuke’s performance in this drama. It’s one of my favorites from this year and hands down, my favorite from any Gay/BL drama ever. This drama deserves a higher rating, even though I was not a huge fan of the ending, everything else was on point. The acting, directing, writing, cinematography, everything was so good and I was so enveloped in the story. Seems very underrated but I did just discover it (and already rewatched it!)

Okay, I just started watching... how is Takezai 38!!! He looks amazing! I would have guessed 28-30 at the most!…
I didn’t like the ending at all :( still in my feelings about it. In the manga, you see them actually meeting up years later and giving a relationship a try and I actually liked it. I do not see that happening for different reasons. I was so into the story and the potential coupling (even more so than in the manga) and it was like getting the rug pulled from under me because I thought they would follow the manga ending.
