I'm on a mission to finish up kdramas I always almost done watching but never got to for whatever reason so that's why i'm watching this right now. I totally forgot how funny the intros are with the 4 friends! The plot could be dramatic but man, i miss fun dramas like this.
Nielsen ratings are out and not encouraging. Nationwide: 4.942% and Seoul: 6.000%. I think KSH is going to complete…
it's not a fail, it's just not a hit and that's ok, it's not that surprising for such a heavy and sometimes dark drama to not be a huge hit . At least the drama is good in terms of quality, if it's not resounding big time with korean viewers then it is what it is but the industry will definitely be paying attention because it's very good especially in terms of acting and directing so far.
The fact that the best episode of the series so far had a decrease in ratings from the previous episode is basically more proof for me that people need to stop focusing so much on local ratings. It's a gauge of korean audiences' tv watching habits and almost nothing else and it bums me out that international korean watchers seem to be so obsessed with it these days and even get into arguments over. Sometimes it's like the ratings and reception matters more than the actual content of the drama.
We need to know the deal between Ko Mun Yeong & Nam Ju Ri...something not right there.
I agree, i think she played a key part in ML & FL childhood experiences that neither of them are aware of. Unrelated but I was kind of shocked to see the book publisher CEO so into her, not saying she's unattractive but I was surprised she was her type. The whole scene and the little "love triangle" in the pizza shop was hilarious though and i loved how she turned them both down and they politely respected her.
I'm just watching to know who murdered the mother at this point. The drama got really boring disappointing as…
This is just me but I've always thought there are way too many dramas to watch to force myself to watch something i'm not really into especially after I've given it a try for a few episodes. Life is too short to waste time on things you really don't enjoy especially when you get to a point in your life where you have less and less time to yourself. I'm not going to tell you to stop watching if you don't like it because of course, that's your choice.
I'm not really feeling it. She comes across as a psycho and narcissist. I just don't know how you "fix" that so…
IMO We’ve seen very brief moments of her true self when the Male lead says or does something that catches her off guard or someone pokes at her deep wounds and vulnerabilities (Like when the bastard reviewer commented on her mom) I think everything else we see of her is the character with her walls up.
Thanks! Netizenbuzz also translated comments and they are overwhelmingly positive. I think the sometimes dark tone and disturbing imagery made some viewers tune out which is not surprising for korean audiences. More of the general public probably tuned in initially to see KSH, this is not general audience friendly romance drama like My Love From The Stars.
