Kiss between men is NG ???? What is this about? https://twitter.com/RJulie52/status/1333000378804105216?s=20
The last 3 Japanese BL dramas & movies I watched released in the past year and a half had MM kissing scenes (and soooo much more) and this involved experienced professional actors who had not done BL before those dramas so I’m not buying this! For this drama, it would not be jarring if they only kissed once or just came close based on Adachi’s character and the fact Kurosawa said they will take things slowly and one day at a time (gosh he’s wonderful *heart eyes*) If there are no plans for a 2nd season, I definitely think they will kiss!
Wow, last time I read through this comment drama was few weeks after it began and people raving about it. I tried it out but could not get past the first episode, the “romance” setup was strange to me with the letter situation in the flashback and that scene where Ji Pyung was staring at her from his car while she was sitting at the bus stop. All that coupled with how people much further in the drama were already loving his character more than any other made me very wary of continuing and looks like all my suspicions of where the story was headed came true. Also the 2nd FL already felt like she would be wasted. It’s so frustrating how some kdramas start out so well now and glaringly lose the plot in later episodes. TV stations will learn the hard way that most of these writers should be writing 12-14 episode length dramas or that they need to hire better writers and maybe not interfere so much if that’s going on.
Wow, so Adachi fell in love with Kurosawa in less than 1 month then? Kurosawa is worthy of being the sales ace…
I mean Adachi deeply admired Kurosawa (including his looks) and then he got access to his deepest thoughts about himself and they were all so wonderful and caring, it would take me way less than a month if I were him!!
Episode 7 was phenomenal 100/10...wow, I loved, loved, LOVED seeing Kurosawa POV, it made me love him even more. Also I have rewatched the opening scene (along with the entire episode )so many times, the acting from both main actors is just incredible and the raw emotion on display is beautiful yet heartbreaking to watch. I really hope this is getting good buzz in Japan (does anyone know?) and both the actors get more castings after this.
SEE HERE YOU GET ME AND I GET YOU, THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!! History of A Salaryman is one of those crazy , underrated dramas, I'll admit I struggled getting past the first episode but it was almost like a smokescreen for how awesome and ridiculous the drama was supposed to be. It's still one of the most unique kdramas i've ever watched and it's been over 7 years since I first saw it. 2012 was such a great year for kdramas!!
Guys i'm obsessed witht the soft and TRULY LOVING ways Kurosawa looks at Adachi (that can sometimes change to subdued but intense passion and longing at the drop of a hat). I've rewatched episodes just to spot all his longing looks, they are like pokemon to me. Huge kudos to the actor, Machida Keita, he's killing this role.
Kurosawa Yuichi is just such a wholesome character. I love how considerate he is and his expressions this episode…
but his face though, like the intensity and passion he was barely holding in while still being so sexy, suave and composed, ooh i was fanning myself. The actor is so good
I've noticed the increase of interest as well and am really glad since this means a lot for future series. Japanese…
"Yuri on Ice" *triggered* LOL just kidding but not really (i miss it so much, when will the movie come out?!!! *cries*). Anyway, I'm really happy that there's a rise in BL jdramas because there are SO MANY wonderfully sweet and fluffy bl mangas out there that would be so wonderful to see adapted. The interesting thing is that this is an explicit manga and there have been slight changes made to the story that make the characters more likeable, it's actually very impressive.
