I understand that for this show but If that was your sole reason for dropping Goblin. I am a little disappointed.
I know quite alot of people that dropped Goblin for more of the MATURITY gap as well as the age gap between the 2 leads... I'm one of them AND a big fan of Gong Yoo.
Okay so, I think I won't trust MDL rating ever again.I've been disappointed 3 times with very well rated dramaI…
I agree not to trust MDL ratings but to be fair, this drama did get very bad reception among native korean audience and international audience during and after it's airing so it's a general sentiment that it was not good. Of course there were and will be people who enjoy it, goes for any drama no matter how widely disregarded it is.
I feel so single after watching this, thank you very much haha joking aside this drama is really good from star…
my goodness, all the scenes where they are lovingly spending time in the house together after becoming official, ESPECIALLY THE SWEET AND SEXY BED SCENE....oh my goodness, they made me fee; so, so single because they were portrayed as a REAL couple so well, I genuinely felt single af after watching this in a way I don't with so many other romantic dramas with straight couples i've watched. I'm jealous and i love them at the same time lol
They will totally exceed your expectations. Not the first one, though, but it made sense to show it like that.
first few before they get together are lackluster to ok and I was scared this was on the part of the actors but the few we get after they get together are cute to even quite sexy in one scene in particular because of the other body language/positions involved. Overall, sweet believable kisses from professional actors.
Such an understated, down to earth drama (I NEED MORE KDRAMAS LIKE THIS PLEASE!!) and portrayal of 2 people falling in love and it was handled with care...honestly at first I was a bit underwhelmed but everything clicked for me around episode 5 or 6. I really appreciate shows like this where I could see an actual gay man (especially from the culture -- in this case Korea) watching this comfortably and not feel like being gay was fetishized in any way, everything felt natural about their feelings for each other. Overall, I really liked it and yes, the kisses got better and better until the last sweet scene, these are grown, professional actors who give it their all. Really wonderful story with a sweet ending, thanks to all the cast, crew, WRITER AND DIRECTOR.
Also have to add that Son Woo Hyun is incredibly charming here as his character affords him to be so but he also fills the role with life. I would love to see more of Kim Kang Min too and also want to shout out the sweet, gentle puppy assistant. When he congratulated Kang Seo Jun on his new relationship, he became my favorite.
Chile how much money did Netflix bank on kdramas last year, this is no joke. What countries have access to Disney+ at this point? Very interesting...(although I will not be watching this particular drama)
International companies entering the korean drama industry is weird to me... I moved away from American TV shows…
Yeah there’s still amazing shows from the US and the west (past and present), I enjoy the best of all worlds, not missing out on good entertainment by staying in 1 lane lol..
I’m sorry to be so shallow but I have to say the screenwriter/director is so fine, just wanted to appreciate him a bit and also that he’s very talented.
this feels rushed and not laid out it felt like it was written immaturely and i couldnt even get past the first…
" i couldnt even get past the first 30 minutes it was boring and I dont feel connected to the characters at all" - I've had this issue with 95% of kdramas I have tried to watch in the last few year especially not surprised with this one but hopefully it gets better.
is Start-Up worth watching? I see everyone with 2nd lead syndrome for Seonho. I hate frustrating love lines
I couldn't even finish the first episode and this was when everyone was raving about it. I was not impressed with any of the characters and I KNEW there would be frustrating love line the moment I saw KSH's character sitting in his car staring at her at the bus stop especially when I knew for sure he was not the main lead.
my goodness, i utterly forgot the power of a TRUE CRACK DRAMA, it's been so dang long...I have got almost NOTHING done over the past 2 days because of this show!!!
OMG this man is going to end me. I need a bag to breathe into?! I don't care if it might be fan service!! Also I've always thought that Akaso wears his emotions on his face (when he's not acting of course) and during later part of filming and after the show, he just genuinely looks SO happy when he's talking to Machida while Machida is always just cool and sexy as usual.
Just started rewatching on Crunchyroll and seeing Akaso and Machida glorious faces in true HD, what a blessing. It was interesting to see how Adachi was so lonely and blah on life (maybe even depressed?) before Kurosawa came into his life. Also seeing him just getting 2 texts on his 30th birthday and that being his birthday celebration made me genuinely sad. I just imagine how Kurosawa would have went ALL OUT if they were dating at the time but the time was not right.
