The first ep was super fun. Kdramas nowadays are so boring. Hope this will help me to get out of my slump
I actually thought the 1st episode was kind of boring but 2nd was better. 1st episode was still more interesting than a lot of kdramas nowadays. I’ve been watching older kdramas and I noticed a lot of them had an intriguing overarching hook introduced in the first episode that left you wanting more.
so glad that Minho’s character wooki stayed gay in the show!! i was afraid they were going to starightwash the…
I guess I dropped the webtoon before that happened but I was literally hoping he would come out and say he is gay BECAUSE FOR ONCE…I actually think he likes her supervisor or they are dating. The kiss he planted on him while he was drunk and being carried felt genuine and I remember thinking that’s the happiest I’d seen Minho’s character look since he first came on screen, I love it!! 🏳️🌈🌈 Please don’t confirm or deny my suspicions lmao
2nd episode is way better than the first episode…I always give dramas that I’m interested in initially a few episodes before deciding to drop. I love the ML’s cells already!! The 2 we just met already had me laughing lol. I was taken aback by how Yumi/her cells said his beard was messy. …the perfectly trimmed soul patch ???lmao. I know koreans don’t care for long hair and especially facial hair which makes me sad face but that was a bit much 😂
Finally finished this drama and I just feel like crying…I’ve never been so emotional after finishing a drama, my heart felt heavy because of all these characters went through…the ending was so bittersweet and very realistic for a kdrama. It was dramatic but what a portrayal of a broken family. Many kudos to the actors, writer, producers and especially to the young man that amazingly portrayed the real core of this drama. I choose to believe he will eventually be ok. I will be watching Dr. Foster at a later time because I guess I like pain and I do love my British dramas (I’m actually watching another show with the female lead right now).
Sometimes I think it's a pity that Rokkaku will (probably) never know about Adachi and Kurosawa's relationship…
I think it will be one of the happiest days of Rokkaku's adorable bobble headed life when he finds out that they are dating. I think this is one of the first asian dramas that I have watched were a straight male friend has been a staunch gay ally, I was overall so impressed with Cherry Magic, it was literally a gift from Japan for 2020 just like Yuri on Ice was a gift in 2016.
IT WAS JUST THEM OPENLY FLIRTING AND SHOWING THEIR LOVE TO EACH OTHER IN PUBLIC OMG (although I would have also loved more of what we got in the final scenes of the drama, them flirting and showing PDA privately, hugged up in bed)....but still THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY, 10/10 OMG 😭😭😭
ALSO, ROKKAKU IS LITERALLY THEIR BOBBLE HEADED CHILD IMAGINE HOW GEEKED HE WILL BE WHEN HE FINDS OUT (as in they decide in their own time to tell him) THAT THEY ARE DATING
HE'LL PROBABLY START CRYING FROM HAPPINESS AND START CALLING THEM HIS DADS😭😭😭 HE'LL BE THE FLOWER BOY AT THEIR WEDDING 😭😭😭
