Sidenote: I don't know how to contact the moderators for this site so just typing a comment here but PLEASE can we get more variety for the featured posts. Majority of them are TV/movie castings, celebrity news, etc for the KOREAN industry, can we get more news from Japan, China, Thailand, Philliphines, etc please? I'm talking a real variety, not 9 straight featured articles about Korea with other countries sprinkled in there. Please just give it a thought or chance, thank you.

Rewatching again with someone else I'm introducing to Kdramas (My Love from Another Star used to be my go to for that haha) and i'm enjoying it so much a 2nd time. I have not told my friend that they got married in real life, I am waiting till the end of the drama so she gets the full fantasy of their romance first haha

Sorry, that's the reality but if it doesn't get added to Disney+ in the US, my point is you do have other options of watching it . You don't like them (which is a-ok with me, it's your viewing choice).

I’ve been thinking for years that most kdrama rom coms or predominantly romance dramas period should be 8-12 episodes, 12 being the maximum. I had high hopes for this drama when I saw it was 12 episodes and I hope it’s success encourages Korean entertainment industry to continue this practice.

It’s not the case with this webtoon…I’ve honestly not been very impressed with a lot of Korean BL released recently, which surprised me but I was expecting more.

It really needs to be way shorter, 6-8 episodes would be best.

Look I’m just glad kdramas are getting shorter much episodes, I’ve been wanting this for years. if 4 , 8 or 12 episodes are all that’s needed to tell a story and bring characters to life then so be it. I’m not getting any younger and there’s way too much interesting TV out there with streaming options. My patience for filler and having to ffwd through half a drama has been wearing painfully thin recently. Sorry just a rant. Anyway looking forward to this, I’m loving the synopsis.

Thanks to Netflix kdrama popularity, more well known/non-niche “other” sites now have Korean dramas unlike before. I actually haven’t had any issues finding other Disney+ shows so surprised to hear that.

although we might be talking about different type of “other” sites haha…

That’s nice but i just cancelled my Netflix subscription due to another price hike and knowing there’s many more to come. Not worth it IMO anymore, not even for kdramas.

Misaeng sounds way more realistic to me based on your description but just basing that on my experiences in corporate.

It’s weekend family dramas that have high ratings. Yes the ratings gave gone down but 4% for a weekend cable TV drama is absolutely not disastrous.
