creative and fun
i watched this show in about two or three days which is VERY quick AND rare for me. the storyline was extremely interesting that it kept me on my toes the whole way through. the acting was great.this being a prettly short lenght series also added to the fact that it was really enjoyable. it is not redundant at all, which is sometimes a problem with the the tv shows that have a way too many episodes.
but this just the right amount of every good thing a show could offer. right amount of mystery, action, comedy and romance.

THEIR CHEMISTRY SHOULD BE DISPLAYED IN MUSEUMS
although cold male lead and aloof sunshine female lead type of plots are cliche in my opinion, they DEFINITELY made up for it with their chemistry. the story line was interesting, especially because they didn't just make it about their code writing.the main leads all shared an intense passion for their job and all ended up taking it a little too far to the dark side.
don't really want to ramble but you'll definitely LOVE this couple and root for them. but just a little heads up, it does get a little draggy towards the end.

intriguing plot
i remember this show kept me on my toes early on because of the mysterious vibes it gave off. the acting was pretty good.i really liked how it kept it's mysterious facade almost all the way through. the way everybody's stories kept changing and the fact that nobody was truly reliable.
there were a few parts that i felt was left kind of unanswered and also the finale didn't satisfy me all that much. other than all of this if you're in the mood to watch something that keeps unraveling as it goes it is definitely a recommend

A SHOW FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS
i truly truly truly don't think the impact this show had can be replicated. even the this wasn't the first cdrama i watched, it was the first one that made me interested in cdramas.the vibes were PERFECT.
the friendship, the romance, the innocent first love.... everything was captured PERFECTLY. the thing with su zaizai filming everything on her camera was adorable.
there wasn't any toxicity. everything was potrayed beautifully.
this is forever my first rec for whoever wanting the watch a cdrama.

pretty good romance movie
i stumbled upon this movie randomly but truly didn't regret watching it. even though story was a bit cliche, the acting and the chemistry of the leads truly made up for it. i LOVED the highschool flashbacks. their romance, the dormitory, the music aspect of their relationship was especially CUUUUUTE ^^Was this review helpful to you?

this was the first cdrama i ever watched. i remember picking this one specificially because of how high rated and overall well liked it was, but honestly it was just so-so. definitely not bad, but i just think this shouldn't be named the THE BEST cdrama ever made when there are ones that are milessssssss better than this. i enjoyed the family dynamic especially when they were in high school.Was this review helpful to you?
i was throughly entertained
this drama delivered. it was just the right amount of silly. it was funny and managed to keep my attention all the way from the start to the very end (!!!make sure you watch until the end of the credits on the last episode for a little surprise!!!). i loved loved loved how silly the made the main male lead when he was in love. the ost was really good as well.highly recommend this to everyone looking for a fun historical cdrama.

a must watch cdrama
at first i had no idea what was going on but the end of the first episode really sucked me into the the story, i felt like i was also playing along miao miao and everyone else.the acting, the story, the characters, music, the chemistry between the leads were all 10/10!!!!!!
this show was just PURE escapism, completely pulled me in and it only took me a few days to finish the entire thing

just like everybody else i was weirded by the age gap in this show. if you ignore that it's pretty solid, especially the sibling dynamic was potrayed perfectly in my opinion.the characters were all likeable.
this would be a great entry to chinese dramas in my opinion, the entire show just felt sunny and warm like a spring day

i LOVE this show so much. the storyline, the chemistry between the leads, the filmography.... nearly EVERYTHING about this show was done to perfection.i watched this show last summer yet i still regularly find myself thinking about it. jerry yan truly potrayed THEEEEE wattpad main lead in this show. honestly hope to see the main leads again in the future as partners on screen.
main problem i had was the amount of screen time the second couple got and the finale that left me with more questions than answers.
