I rarely drop a drama but I just had to in this case. What a shame. Reading some of the comments below I was really excited. I think Yoo Ji Tae is a great actor and although I had not seen the lead actress, because of their respective ages, I expected a slightly more mature drama. Please don't misunderstand, when I say mature I am not referring to intimacy, but instead to their behaviour. Moreover, I had hoped that given that the lead is in a position of power, she would be a strong character but instead she turned out to be this whiny, self-absorbed, ill mannered trying to be cute but failing miserably girlie girl. I found her so dislikeable that I could not see how any man could possibly fall for her, so the romance / chemistry was totally lost on me. I do get a bit tired of the stereotypical cute naive good as gold type (but if they are in their early 20's I can sort of believe it if the story is good) even though I must say I prefer stronger or a more faceted portrayal of female characters but a 30 something grown up women doing cute whilst being pushy and rude at the same time?

As much as I loved the leads and their chemistry and even liked the second leads very much indeed, this just went too far in terms of tragedy. I mean how many bad things could happen to this couple? Not enough it seemed.

On a positive note, I actually believe that they did survive. The very last commentary seems to suggest to me that at long last their love had been accepted by those around them. Which makes the random accident at the end ( I mean why did he turn away from her and why on earth did she run after him totally ignoring the traffic? The mind boggles. ) appear well random and simply included in order to keep viewers guessing until the very end.

A truly underrated actor and a very handsome man. I wish that he would get a lead role and for once get the girl.

Thank you. Wow, you just concisely summarized what I tried to find out. Do you by any chance speak or understand either of those Languages? In any case, I agree, I prefer watching the original, as intended by the director. Unfortunately not being able to understand either Mandarin or Cantonese often leaves me in bit of a pickle. Do you know where I can watch the Chinese / Mandarin ? version with English subtitles? All I have managed to find thus far is the dubbed and shortened version. (Please forgive me for being completely ignorant with regard to the various Languages spoken in China and other surrounding territories using said Languages.)

I got really excited when I saw these uploaded (again) on dramacool alas still not subbed. But why are they uploading again ? Does that mean that there is a glimmer of hope that they may get translated after all ?

Thank you for that. That explains a lot. After having done a little more research I now wonder if the Cantonese version is also the one which has cut out all scenes that allude to or show any kind of physical intimacy and if so, as somebody suggested, as a result has gaps which stop the story from flowing and making sense. If any which version did you watch?

Is it only 74 episodes? Sorry if I am asking the blatantly obvious, but I am confused with regards to the length and as I have stated above really only want to watch it if I can finish it.

I am a bit confused. I found episode 1-74 of 45 minutes each (with subs) and it says that it is completed. However, the above description suggests that there are meant to be 96 episodes and Wikipedia states that it started of as 82 and then changed to 96 . I really don't like to start watching something, getting into it and then not being able to finish. Can any of you out there clarify? Thank you.

Kim Rae Won is absolutely amazing in this. The script is great and the dialogue, thanks to subbers is very well translated. But what really got me was what Kim Rae Won manages to express without words with his ever so subtle facial expressions, superb.

Since it is a Japanese Drama it is a bit slower at being subbed. Having said that, it is relatively recent and the first episode has now been translated.
