I don't know what people are liking in this series, I found this a bit boring tbh.
For those complaining chemistry is lacking, skinship was slightly lacking but not romance or chemistry. On the contrary, romance is done beautifully and was one of the best parts about this drama, problem actually lies somewhere else.
Except for FL the whole cast is really bad at acting and I don't feels emotions at all. FL, however, did a phenomenal job, she carried this drama rather. The story itself is lackluster and fails to keep engaged repeatedly. The goody goody vibe this series tries to create only creates a sense of fool's paradise and nothing else. The subplots are as uninteresting as main plot. This can't be excused by saying that this is slice of life, I have seen or read many much better written, acted or directed slice of life than this.
I can't rate this anything above 7/10, and that too mainly because of FL and beautifully done romance, rest was just...
Never have I ever been so much bored watching a kdrama.....I don't have anything else to say this is just boring.... I'm having such a hard time enduring this even with finger continuously on fast forward....

What a hard series to rate. It started really good, and writing seemed promising but as plot progressed some massive weirdities appeared.
First, the FL, I liked the actress but they made me hate the character. What FL is doing is not smart its simply illegal. Identity theft, impersonation, coercion, evidence planting and whatnots and that too for what? Just to save the bad guy? What an idiotic plot! In any real scenario, FL would have gotten disbarred or jailed even for the crimes she is committing. Also what is up with FL's idiotic fashion sense? Why is Elvis Presley roaming about pretending to be a lawyer? FL looked good in first episode, I don't know why they changed her appearance.
Secondly, ML, this guy started smart and was fun to watch, but he literally became more stupid the more episodes went by. Writer for some reason like to make him into a doormat time and again.
Overall, I rate it a 6.5, mainly for cast and their acting, they did good with the roles they were given.

What kind of BS is this?! The FL is in love with a Roomba. The ML is suddenly in love with FL because Roomba thinks it loves FL. The Roomba, understandably, wants to be friends with everyone and loves everyone. Yea I believe you, applause!
Genuinely baffling plot holes, put your brain in a dumpster before watching this. Even when putting logic aside, there is utter lack of chemistry between FL and ML or FL and Roomba for that matter. IMHO, FL urgently needs mental therapy to cure her love for inanimate objects, ML needs to grow up fast and Roomba needs a better coder ASAP.

What a mess this is! This is not a story this is just BS. Avoid it if you can, I have seen bad series, but this was not bad it was just simply a time waste.

The ML, who apparently was confident in start, became the most indecisive shit I have ever seen. The FL started as dumb and remained dumb throughout. TBH plot actually glorified being dumb. Rest of the characters are not even mention-worthy. The only characterization that I was half interested in was of ML's mother. The cast is not bad, everyone acted good with what they were given, the writing is the problem. Writer doesn't know how to write proper characters or character development or story for that matter. Just like reviewer below me I also ended up disliking "the entire cast of characters".
My warning to prospective viewers, avoid this one, don't waste 16 hours of your life on this mess. Rating: 2.5/10

Completely agree. Romance, storytelling, acting, ost, character development, and everything else was such a pleasure to watch. This couple's chemistry was so compelling that it kept me wanting for more for the entirety of 16 episodes. Ending also wrapped up everything beautifully. If not for plot inconsistencies in the last 2-3 episodes, this could easily have been 9 or even 9.5 for me, had to give it a 8.5 sadly.

Their chemistry was simply out of the world, main leads acted real well. I also liked the pacing and character development. Every moment with the main couple and even the supporting couple was just so refreshing and sweet.

I agree, felt the same too. Too much miscommunication and too many idiotic decisions from characters, thankfully though they were constrained to last few episodes. Absolutely loved the romance between main leads and that little touch of fantasy only made it better. It's 8.5 for me too, just that, this could have easily have been a 9.0 or 9.5 even if not for dumb decisions taken by characters in last few episodes.
So finished it and if I were to only rate the relationship/character development and romance it would be a 10/10…

You're nitpicking here, the IQ of her father or fashion sense of her mother is not the focus of the main story. These flashbacks are very short and are there to just establish the baseline for her revenge. I for one liked the fact that unlike many other dramas this drama didn't waste much time in flashbacks, rather most events happened in present.
"Ra El should have been the glue ... midway into the drama."
This is a wrong analysis of her behavior here. She didn't change her mind, she was conflicted the whole time because she didn't expect herself to fall in love with the same person she was trying to exact revenge upon. This was especially evident when she even fainted in the church on being confronted with the realization of hurting the one she loved.
"Her behavior became more and more psychologically disturbed ... vengeance has expanded."
Again wrong analysis of her behavior here, she is not psychotic, she is angry and wrathful, which she should be justifiably so because of what happened to her and her family. She acts as a psycho sometimes to confuse or instill fear into Han So Ra's mind not to be confused with her real mental state in those situations, because acting like a psycho requires you to be really calm inside.
"... Yoon Geum's miserable childhood. Do I care? ..."
Nitpicking again, what was the length of that scene exactly? 30 seconds? And you're complaining about that? By your logic, we shouldn't be shown any scenes at all of side characters but only main character, ohh my bad, apparently Yoon Gyeom is also the main character here...
"LOL. He was already steaming with lust ... guy like this? LOL"
Factually incorrect, he rejected her advances quite a many times before giving in and that is from a guy who is in a loveless marriage. Also the drama itself established the base with "Twin Flames", basically they clicked the first time they saw each other only they didn't realize it themselves. Anything that a story establishes itself should be considered a part of suspension of disbelief as long as the consistency is maintained going onwards.
"The most infuriating thing ... deep researching, device-tracking, surveilling, espionage or military-style anti-reconnaisance ... lower half of their bodies."
There's a lot of bias here and not to mention factual inaccuracies too. Our female lead does do researching, device-tracking, surveillance etc etc. That's how she collected most of the evidence.... Also I don't understand the expectations here, the genre is "Romance, Drama, Melodrama", what you're expecting should be present in genres like "Action,, Thriller, etc", not same at all.
"... Han So Ra have sex with a manservant ..."
There's no purpose, this is to establish theme and atmosphere. First we get to understand double standards of Han So Ra, she talks of love while cheating herself. Second, this gives a little more credibility to Ra El and Yoon Gyeom's relationship. And third, this tells the viewer about what kind of society Ra El needs to deal with.
"Seo Eun Pyeong ... to fall in love with her. "
Again wrong analysis of behaviors here, Seo Eun Pyeong was indebted to Ra El's father, he was an orphan and he considered Ra El his only family. That's how much attached he was to her. He had to send her to USA to protect her and though their time together was short he never stopped thinking about her, to the extent that he became an assemblyman from lawyer just to avenge her father and protect her. Although I do agree his confession of love was way too much rushed.
Wrapping up, I do agree there are a lot of plot holes and stupid decisions in this drama, yes, but in its genre it does good to keep viewer engaged as long as you know what expectations you're going in with. I find a lot of points mentioned in this review mere nitpicking and the rating of 1.5 a trigger rating made due to personal bias. The OST, Costumes, Acting alone should garner a better rating even if you didn't like the story at all considering that you yourself have given acting an 8.5 and music a 6.5.
