I was so angry when I finished this show not because of the ending but because of how many people still "shipped"…
Its not love, its tragedy and a BS one at that. I have seen same trope executed many times but all of them in a much much better way. Here I literally wished ML died in the first episode so that our FL didn't have to go through so many miseries. Even that middle aged guy who came with marriage proposal would been have a far better choice than ML.
Completed it finally, its a trainwreck tbh. I won't suggest anyone to watch this. Story is a complete mess, had to skip a lot just to get through. Middle 30-35 episodes are filled with nothing but bs and boring politics. Rest is just misery after misery for our genuinely good natured FL with both ML being the prime misery makers, main ML much more than 2ML.
Also for people praising the romance or chemistry, I didn't find any. Where is selflessness? Where are sacrifices? Where's support? Where's worry for other? This was not love, this was simply "Explotation" by an obsessed manipulative scum!
Even the high budget production and top notch acting can't save this crappy script.
I would suggest to everyone to avoid this unless you are into torturing yourself. 3/10
Right now at episode 7 and really having a hard time continuing this. ML is a manipulative scum who doesn't deserve the FL at all! He is using her, lying to her, coercing her and even betraying her family's trust and just for what? A measly political gain? This becomes especially sad when seeing how sweet and trusting FL is.
This is not love, this is just pure selfishness, nothing else. I hope this piece of shit gets killed by FL's hands before he does any more damage to her. Let's see if I can continue this....

Tbh this piece of shit is why I'm starting to hate this series just a bit. 2FL even with her bitchy attitude is not this annoying. I will be satisfied if he gets a bloody death, like impaled or something.
Its hard to say for now tbh, overall its been quite good but there are some points where it becomes boring a bit... We will know better in next few episodes
This is what I think the events leading to the ending were after logically analyzing the ending as much as I could.
First for ML, I think he survived the three gunshots. We already saw him surviving gunshots, stabs, mine blasts and whatnots before. Also he was pretty lively even after getting shot three times, even killing the villain while pretending to be hurt. So I think, those 3 shots or some of them maybe missed his vitals. On top of that, he was also tough to begin with. Some time later his assistant discovered him collapsed in church and took him to hospital where he recuperated and healed.
Next as for FL, I think she did try to shoot herself in head but she was so bad at shooting or maybe lucky even, that the bullet grazed her head or maybe entered but didn't kill her. The shock and damage of that wound was sufficient to make her collapse right there at that moment. ML's assistant on arriving at church considered her dead seeing wound to head never checking for life. She remained there collapsed, when later church discovered her and nurses healed her back, maybe using some ancient chinese medications.
ML after getting back on his feet joined military struggle since he was proven innocent and was already the governor or maybe commander now. He thought FL was dead since he saw her shoot herself.
FL after getting healed, joined the church as a nurse since she considered ML was dead and now had no goal in life.
Military struggle ensued, and nurses from church, FL being one of them, helped soldiers who were injured on the battlefield. ML was also deployed in this military struggle and this is where we finally see them reunite and discover each other being alive in the ending. The flashbacks they see prove that they still remember each other and they are literally the same person who met again after miraculously surviving a deadly encounter.
As for what happens next, we're never shown this but it is quite evident tbh. FL now doesn't have that misplaced hate for ML because she already took her revenge by shooting him. The love she had still remains and it would be much more amplified due to long separation. I could also imagine ML telling her of the real killer of her family soon after meeting her. The guilt of that would be insurmountable for her. I could imagine some tearful scenes afterwards and lots of fluff too. All in all, they get back together, that happens without a doubt.
I think this is closest to what writers intended. We also see FL wearing cap, so maybe her head injury is being covered by it.
