The ending is quite disappointing to me, I feel we're back at square one but just the opposite way around and…
Its not back to square one, because everyone expect herself remembers everything.
Its like she forgot parts of her memories but everyone who she forgot treasures her and is already a part of her life. They are all helping her out and slowly injecting themselves into her life the same way she did.
Shin Hye Sun never disappoints! Enjoyable watch.. Enjoyed this thoroughly and finished it in a single day! A few…
People look too much into logic. This is not a mystery drama, this is about characters, relationships and life itself. And that part was exceptionally done, no complaints!
Could you give me a spoiler for the ending please? I'm getting mixed things here some people saying it has a good…
Its a really good and heartwarming ending, I don't know why people find it bad at all.

Basically she needs to forget all her past lives to save all those close to her. This has side effect of forgetting them too, but they will remember her.
Once she forgets them, they all very sneakily but very smartly indeed introduce themselves into her life in the same way she injected herself into their lives when she knew the past. This was, though short, was really heartwarming to watch. Especially, ML's confession in same way she confessed to him on day one.
---------
That's it, my short explanation don't do it justice though. Go ahead and watch it! If you like well written touching moments you will like it.
Such an awesome heartwarming story, everything was just perfect!
I didn't watch this for mystery because its not supposed to be mystery. I watched this for the characters, their interactions, their feelings, theirs emotions and all of that was just so comforting to watch. Show was filled with positive vibes throughout. Every time it could have taken the cliche route it chose to take the another one instead. 9/10 easily
I really felt the shortage of episodes here though. 12 was just too low, 16 would have been better or 14 even.
FL wins the award for being the most adorable girl. ML wins the award for being the biggest jerk. P'Suki wins the award for being the best character. MVP! ππ And finally, last but not the least, Piak wins the award for being the most annoying character in the drama history ever!
Honestly, this drama was quite better than a lot of lakorns, loved it throughout and never got bored 8.5/10
I can see where you are coming from though.I actually blame the execution of LSS's character majorly. However…
After completing this, I think that a lot problems arise due to LSS's missing monologue. LSS's reactions are missing in a lot of scenes and that makes her motivations unclear and ambiguous to say the least.
Imagine an alternative situation where instead of being shown only her one sided actions we were also given a monologue or a narration simultaneously or beforehand then her decision making would have been more understandable if not likeable. Right now everything is left to imagination making her seem indifferent sadly. Its possible that cuts might be the reason for this because after reading the HE I think novel did a much better job at portraying her. Last 5-6 episodes also are the ones where I think her character underwent the most character growth.
Don't get me wrong though, I don't like her still but I just have a better hate target, the immortals! delusional hypocritical pretentious pricks all! π π π
Yes I didn't really like LSS at first cos she was always out to get TTJ. π π He had a hard life largely due…
Thanks for suggestion! Read through the HE, and is it just me or is Li Susu written much much better there? I'm pretty sure its not just me.
BTW I consider HE the canon ending since novel was the original source material no matter the distortions that happened afterwards. This show is still incomplete tbh, hope they complete this soon by giving a special or two.
I can understand tho, I even felt that way in the earlier episodes too. I'm like girl please get him and don't…
Tbh that could quite closely be the reason. I think cuts actually converted her character into an indifferent and nonsensical one. Though she might not have been a likeable character originally anyways but if not for missing monologue and events atleast her motivations would have been better understood.
Li Susu isn't a romantic FL, I grant you that. At the beginning, she was only ever focused on her mission to kill…
I completed it and read through the HE. IMO the novel did a much much better job in portraying the FL. Even without reading the complete novel, the HE alone has much better explanation of Li Susu's thought process. A lot of people are blaming the cuts, think they might be correct.
Yes I didn't really like LSS at first cos she was always out to get TTJ. π π He had a hard life largely due…
That actually works quite well! I was just replaying small flashbacks we see of him as devil here and there and actually forgot that we can replay the whole first episode itself π€£π€£π€£
Li Susu isn't a romantic FL, I grant you that. At the beginning, she was only ever focused on her mission to kill…
I understand, her characterization might be a bit off due to script or length of the show but I found her reactions and decision making quite weird and unrealistic at many points tbh.
For example, when she discovers TTJ was not linked to her grandmother's death and she actually unintentionally almost poisoned him. Where's the guilt? You've misunderstood a person and tried to poison him too, are you not worried at all what he thinks about you? Also, isn't it a good time to trust him for once and finally tell him everything given how because of your distrust this whole situation is created? Instead she decides to take one more 'one sided decision' of lighting punishment which according to her is sacrifice but I only see it as selfishness because she is leaving the other person in agony.
Similarly, when she finally tries to kill him with spikes. If you are going to kill him, please kill him clean, don't mess up! And if you have messed it up isn't it high time you fessed up?
Again, during their reunion in immortal realm. Where's the joy? Your loved one is alive and he didn't become devil god, you should be ecstatic. If she can't show her emotions in front of TTJ then atleast we should see some emotions when she is alone. Also I never understood why she needs to be silent about everything to literally everyone. Okay, don't tell TTJ anything atleast talk to your master!
I continuously felt that, if only she didn't take everything upon herself and overestimated her capabilities even after continuous failures a lot of miseries could have been averted.
Their love too, while the actors had amazing chemistry, Li Susu's character just felt too "Passive" IMO. She was alternating between 'I love you' and 'I love you not' for literally 75% of the show. Her reactions were bland many times too. That's why, I found it refreshing to see Sang Jiu who was much more determined and sensible character tbh.
LSS did redeem herself a bit later on but all the things she did only make me feel sad for TTJ π

He's getting blamed for a massacre he didn't do by the love of his life who is sacrificing herself needlessly to apparently save him from becoming something he doesn't even understand. Li Susu can you be more cruel?
I think this guy would have been much happier if he was killed by her rather. He was ready to die for her, we know that from bracelets.
I can understand tho, I even felt that way in the earlier episodes too. I'm like girl please get him and don't…
Exactly! I think she needed more dialogues to atleast give us more context why she can't associate with TTJ due heartless way or whatever.
If a guy needs to try this hard to get a girl, like 500 years of continuous burning in nether river, and that girl is still indifferent showing no emotional response whatsoever on their reunion, it makes me doubt whether that girl is right one for him or not.
Its like she forgot parts of her memories but everyone who she forgot treasures her and is already a part of her life. They are all helping her out and slowly injecting themselves into her life the same way she did.
Ofcourse amazing acting too.

And forget the chemistry, I was actually much more interested in Ban Ji Eum's interactions with every single other character. too
Such a well written characters and well acted too. And phenomenal performance by Shin Hye Sun!

I just felt sad for her throughout. ML kept on misunderstanding her again and again π’
P.S. BTW Didn't we meet on TTEOM too? We now have two shows in common lol πππ
I bet if a person watches Piak for 1 hour continuous he will be having a violent outburst and breaking his screen altogether in no time.
