This series is absolutely amazing... acting, music, everything. You will keep on watching episodes unless you…
The police not checking the call log at all was so annoying. And I disliked Yun Su’s whole personality writing because it ended up unused and unexplained. It ended up feeling like it was only shown that way as a misdirect

Title The Price of Confession Spoiler
Just finished, and honestly I am underwhelmed and quite irritated. I feel like I am missing what was great about…
An Yun Su has got to be the most frustrating character I watched this year. She actively gets herself in trouble, be it re-enacting her dead husband’s murder, cutting her court-ordered tracker off multiple times, skulking around like a fugitive and neglecting her daughter Sop, the list goes on. And because of the unrealistic freedom she had, I felt the police were utter trash at their jobs. Like this is one skinny woman who is a professional artist, not a criminal mastermind.

Park Hae Soo’s detective character in particular was so simple minded. Honestly, at the beginning I thought he was being set up to be a bad guy/murder accomplice with his creepiness and how he wanted to die on the hill that Yun Su was the killer, that would have been an interesting twist. By the second half of the show, he is just jerked around by the plot and following Yun Su’s lawyer’s lead.

Mo Eun was written reasonably consistently, except for the parts where she somehow knew how to plug up the solitary confinement wall that separated her and Yun Su with whatever she chewed (the wall was sealed when the police visited and checked it, wasn’t it? Did she smuggle and chew wall plaster or something? Made no sense). I am on the fence on her self-harm behavior near the end of the story, but I can excuse it to how she had nothing else to live for except her revenge. She acted like she knew Yun Su so well, but then all they use to support it is the ending scene of her stumbling across her wedding.

Oh and don’t get me started on the villains. The most underwhelming motivation ever. Like, all Jin and his wife had to do was retract their donation and explain they didn’t know the artist was suspected of plagiarism. In literally the last 2 episodes and maybe 10 mins combined you want to set up and indicate his wife as the killer? Sorry, the hooded and masked female appearances are not good enough to warrant a throwaway wrap-up like that. Not only that, but Jin also took it upon himself to kill the Ko Se Hun for some reason. Why did Yun Su have to be responsible for both murders? Her husband who was rude to them was dead, all they had to do is cover their tracks and avoid becoming the main suspects.

Yun Su’s lawyer was unrealistically optimistic with how he refused to doubt Yun Su, and the female detective was just there to accuse anybody of “really you don’t think it was An Yun Su?!” The tracker installation lady was bleh, so was the random way that chubby prisoner lady was suddenly outside prison and able to kidnap Sop at the mall for an afternoon. These kinds of little plot conveniences steadily took away from the story.

Nonetheless, I agree with the majority that Kim Go Eun acting was a strong point and the first 5 or so episodes were quite great. A shame that the show devolved and ended like it did.

Just finished, and honestly I am underwhelmed and quite irritated. I feel like I am missing what was great about the show as indicated by the ratings. The only characters I felt were handled well are Mo Eun and innocent Sop. More details about my gripes below. I genuinely invite replies that help me see this story in a better light.

Found the drama great but the ending mostly unsatisfying. My main consolation was seeing Jang Tae Gyu as a pile of bones, serves him right.

Caught up to episode 3, great drama so far.
I think the highlight is Seo Munju’s actress acting, she’s crushing it. Despite the very real traumas she’s had to face, she shows up every time she needs to. And underneath her courageous gaze you can see the emotions she is striving to work through, openly and behind closed doors. That’s a truly strong woman. Writer really nailed her character, and the actress brings her to life so well

I don't remember if I have ever commented on an ongoing k-drama on this website. But this one deserves more publicity.

I respect the courage the main leads have to act on their feelings for each other, given the challenges their love is already and will certainly pose. As thought-provoking as it is, it is heartwarming and beautiful.

I really get frustrated with Jaein, Seoyeong and Seoyeong's company CEO. Like, leave your issues at the door of your professional shoots and gatherings. Seoyeong especially gets me heated! Sis, let it go! Move on!!! The world does NOT revolve around you and your past relationship!!! Spend your time focusing on healing and letting go of your past relationship so you can meet the man for you.

If you are on the fence, this is your sign to watch this! Absolutely masterful story. I haven't been this emotionally stirred in a while.

I’m all for your No-eul/246/Detective Hwang team up re-write, but I think the games should continue as portrayed…
I would have loved Junhee living till the end, but I felt it was absolutely in line for the show to kill her off for a dash of hopelessness, so I am not too mad at it going that direction

Let me write a better S3 for y’all : The story picks up from season 2. Detective with his crew goes back, and…
I’m all for your No-eul/246/Detective Hwang team up re-write, but I think the games should continue as portrayed until Gihun, 333 and Baby 222 are last one standing on the bridge, then No-eul team busts in at just the right time after a successful infiltration (since let’s face it, the soldiers/guards efforts was a hot mess this season with lots of holes to take advantage of - cannot still believe Mr square, the direct report to Frontman, forgot about the machine gun in the elevator…).

The No-eul team infiltrates the night before final game, takes out Mr Square NK defector as final game is happening, have Detective Hwang take on his role to get close to Frontman and VIPs, and send No-eul to final game arena. No-eul takes care of the Gihun/333/Baby 222 situation to make sure no one dies, she and Gihun work together to restrain trashy dad 333, then go together to join in on the Hwang Brother showdown. Angsty heart to heart between Hwang brothers follows and ends with Frontman allowing himself to be arrested, police arrives on Island, everyone goes their separate ways, Gihun reunites with daughter in Cali.

Now that would have been a somewhat satisfying ending.

Watched episode 1 and 2 and honestly I am thinking of dropping because I hate how Eun Pyo acts so lifeless and never turns Jin Ha away, she just keeps acting like a zombie. Does this continue? I don't want to keep getting frustrated.
Also, if anyone has recommendation of a mystery/drama type show with no half-dead people, please drop them in the replies. I will really appreciate it!

Honestly, I like Mi Jeong the least out of the siblings, which I didn’t expect at all at the beginning since she is the least “annoying”. But there’s something about her portrayal… I get that she is introverted but it honestly doesn’t feel… quite realistic. Her countenance just seems so drained and sad. Maybe I should associate it more with some depression than being because of introversion, given her last monologue before she corners Mr. Goo. Because if that is supposed to be an introvert, I can’t get behind it. Idk, it might be that dazed and lifeless way she keeps her face while she’s not having her soliloquy, but it’s really frustrating to have to watch her scenes. In my opinion, Mr Goo who is literally nearly mute has more charisma than her, even when they seem to be similar types of characters. Anyways just had to let that out. I still think the story is intriguing, just hope that the last scene means that there’ll be more of a compelling storyline coming from her soon.

Title All of Us Are Dead Spoiler
i just am in complete awe that the one irrelevant useless ass girl in the squad outlived cheongsan and even woojin???…
Yes yes YES exactly how I felt! Why was the show so hell bent on killing people unnecessarily?? On joo appa died like 5 mins after seeing his kid because apparently he’s a superhuman that swam in water with a bullet wound but can’t avoid some distracted zombies, Na yeon seemed to have been set up for a redemption but just died, Teacher seemed set up to go far with the kids but runs after a stupid Na yeon and dies, Jimin literally just runs off away from the group because the pink sweater girl falls on the ground and plays some tag with surrounding zombies before getting eaten, CHEONG-SAN the most useful and character-developed kid freakin gets no justice and is blinded and blown up along with that heartless devil Gwi-nam that deserved WAY more pain?! They just killed off characters in the most unsatisfying ways! And don’t get me started with the way the bullied zombie girl just got caught anti-climatically. Maybe they were going for a hopeless apocalypse but at least make it so the audience can at least feel something, and that usually comes through adding some small hope or fleshed out characters! And in my opinion, both were mostly missing, save for Cheong-san and Nam-ra. I literally cared for no other kid or person.
Whew okay done ranting.
