This drama is seriously the best, so far I love absolutely everything about it. Shin Sung Rok is definitely an incredible actor, just the way he's able to convey and express emotions is always on point. I love all his scenes with Go Won Hee and Kim Min Kyu, the jokes always land, it's just exactly my style of comedy. I'm so excited now that the brothers will be living together, their interactions are just too good. Does this show have some crazy things that I have to overlook? Yes, yes it does. His character ditching a model in a park that passed out in his fashion show is a bit sketch. Also, her falling from a cliff onto some gravel and only spraining both her wrists because she's a plus size person? What kind of statement about fat people are they trying to make with that? She would still break her bones no matter how much extra padding she has, that was ridiculous. Also, wish they had gotten a different younger actor for the flashback scenes with her husband. It's as though they don't think the audience will be smart enough to understand that's her husband in the flashback. That's a personal pet-peeve for me though. However, this show's pros greatly outweigh the cons and is pretty lovely and delightful still. Fingers crossed that they don't ruin it.
I am at ep 5 and I feel 0 chemistry between the leads. . Am I the only one? I think the leading girl doesn’t…
The chemistry comes later, it's a slow-burn. Her character isn't instantly happy-go-lucky after transforming through the perfume. She has too many debilitating mental and emotional scars to deal with.
I watch it on http://www2.fastdrama.me/watch-online/my-absolute-boyfriend/ep2526-sub I don't know if that's the…
Dang, that's intense. I want to see the extended version but I don't have VIU so that sucks. Hopefully I'll get to see it in the next episode? Or maybe it'll be cut completely? It's funny that Young Goo is able to act less robotic then a version that's supposedly a lot better then him. In fact people have been criticizing Yeo Jin Goo's acting because he isn't robotic enough. I would hate it if he had to act all robotic, I think he does a great job interpreting the character. I tried watching the Japanese & Taiwanese versions and they were so cringey.
When her mom cleans her sister's house after she finds out about the abuse and leaves those baby clothes and that note definitely made me feel emotional. There are some real hard-hitting moments in this drama. I'm just getting fatigue from watching the same-old conflict play out.
