I think we need to thank their chemistry for this. They do have that sweet but with sizzling undertone kind of chemistry that give enough tension in their intimate moments. Otherwise these kind of overloaded sweetness can quickly be boring. And their chemistry with us the audience. Many people don‘t like this drama because they don‘t feel the chemistry of this couple and get bored while we, the fans enjoying it immensely. So it‘s down to the chemistry with the audience too, I believe.

LOL the director‘s dreamy and drooling face watching them kissed. I guess they must practice a lot off screen for those kiss scenes 😏. Their Bts chemistry actually looked so much hotter imo than in drama (I watched the kiss teaser from the drama already too). And there already a couple of their Bts holding hands and looks so chummy with each other that are not there in the drama. It can be also from cut scenes that didn‘t made it into the drama but well my delulu brain wants to believe otherwise). There is al so BtS from their car racing scene where it looks like they kissing, I‘ll watch out if this is in the drama or not.
@Xcddhh: yes I also read the dating rumor of TJC-MXT before TJC-ZY and eagle eyed their interaction as well in Hi6 EPs. but I didn‘t get the same vibe like he has with ZY. I wouod even say Tjc is trying to keep his distance from MXT, like how in last week Hi6 game 321 when they as team won the game, he didn’t even high five MXT (their rl shipper would say it’s sign their dating cos he blatantly ignored her 🤣).Is Mxt joining Hi6? 100% agree. Let‘s enjoy our delulu-ness while there are still some sugar crumbs to float out ship. They are my 3. RL CP ship. The first are Yang Zi-Deng Lun after AoL and then Hyun Bin-Son Ye Jin from CLOY, so I would say my accuracy rate is 50:50 LOL. Actually I’m pretty rational and not the type to ship in RL, but once in the blue moon the drama CP just hit differently coupled with the yummy BTS and off my ship sails away. It‘s really sad actually how c-celeb even go as far as hiding their marriage for fear of backlash or losing fans. But I‘ve seen what the fans did for their idol and that level of dedication is making my jaw drop.

That is an unusual ‚mean‘ thing to say to your co-worker and not smthng you‘ll say if you not really close to them for fear of offending them right. Yes the way ZY looked at him at that instant, like she knows in RL how good/not he actually is in managing his work and dating life ;-). And the way both of them tried to downplay their perfect score of the tacit understanding game is quite sus as well. I think the OP mentioned that in US ppl need to have bachelor degree first (4years study) before going to med school, so maybe like 12 years at least. I may be wrong though, as I don‘t live in US. In the country where I live it‘ll also take about at least 11-12 years of studying medicine to became a specialist after finishing high school at 18/19 years old.

Notice where TJC‘s and ZY‘s hands are when they are photographed together then that hug and hair flick afterwards. I try to be rational but my delulu brain keep noticing those small things. I‘m not familiar with c-net, is it normal for co-actors to be so chummy? From what I see most still maintain some distance, even if they playfully touch and tease each other in BTS/interview. And then I noticed that ZY BTS and interview with her other co-star are pretty consistent (fun playful interaction all the time). TJC and ZY it‘s like they tried hard to tone down their chemistry on interview, but the BTS showed something else entirely. My delulu brain at it‘s finest

medical school in china is different than in US. They go directly from high school to med school in china and the whole study takes only about 5 years (residency included) plus another 2-3 years specialization course to get degree as MM (Master of Medicine). There are also special program in top universities china where after 8 years the they can graduate with MD (MS/Master of Surgery is part of MD) degree. To be cardiac surgeon like MQC will take another couple of years after MS though, that‘ll fit with MQC age (29 y.o.)which revealed in the trailer. His parents are doctors so very possible he’s already groomed into this path since young. Between med school and Voice Acting, no wonder he never have the time to get a gf LOL. I think we need to just roll with his character description as Mr. Perfect and enjoy the show. Luckily TJC manage to ground this unbelievable character with his performance and make MQC still look interesting instead of a flat 2-D Mr. Perfect.
