Ep 3 was the last straw for me. I can see how much effort Becky is putting in and I was trying to watch and enjoy for her and out of pure loyalty to the series but unfortunately they have completely lost the vibe of the OG. Not her fault at all, the writing is just ass and this forced romance is pissing me off. Nanno and TK from the OG series was one of the best storylines I have ever seen and I desperatly wanted those two to meet again. To have this new guy thrown in our face with no substance to their relationship whatsoever and letting him reappear is really making me mad. I unfortunately do not see myself continuing to watch. The first two episodes were at least better but still not quite the same sadly. This series doesn't have anything to offer me. I am happy that there are fans who can enjoy this one but I am sadly not one of them. I will forever mourn the incredible plot of the first two seasons. I wanted to see it continue so bad 💔
There's an aroace character in the drama "I will be your 8loom" That drama has other lgbt rep too, it's really good. It's not the focus, or anything but I like it even better because the rep is just there and it's not treated like a huge thing. It was really comforting to watch something and just have queer characters existing without once being pointed out in anything but a positive and happy way.
I watched Love Alarm and he has barely any expressions in it, but maybe he improved since then.
Yeah that's just bc Love Alarm sucked and his character was dumb in my opinion asvdgsha. I don't hold that role against him lol. He's good in other stuff I promise haha
One of my favorite actors for sure! idk why people say he doesn't have facial expressions?? He always suits the role perfectly, he's super versatile and he's really good with acting with his eyes. I've always admired eye acting. Anyone can force a smile or some tears, but to put true emotion into your expression is really remarkable.

I definitely did appreciate Amber and his own emotions around it and the fear he felt of people not accepting it, that was the only thing I thought they did right. It was honestly such promising representation, I just didn't feel like they quite covered it right. But of course there's the stigma to consider and maybe I also could have misunderstood the writers intentions. It's definitely possible they did it like that to shine a light, as you said, on the way society sees anyone under the trans umbrella, anyone who doesn't fit into the gender norms, as outcasts. If that was their intention then it was a good start but I definitely think it could have been better. I really appreciate your comment! You've definitely given me another perspective. I did jump to negativity a bit fast. I guess I'm just used to transphobia :') I hope that this becomes a step in the right direction towards representing the community in media, instead of a negative approach., and definitely not just a plot to make a BL 'more unique' because it also came off a bit like they cared more about making a unique BL than giving good representation from how quickly they skimmed over it. It's pretty hard to tell what the writers were going for unfortunately so I'll just hope for the best. Thank you again!
I wasn't planning on ever interacting on this site anymore for various reasons lol but im so mad I gotta say something bc barely anyone is mentioning this. I got really excited thinking we got trans representation, and really good trans rep. But then it fucking wasn't and it made me so mad. If it was intersex representation that would have been amazing too but I don't think it was. By the sounds of it he wasn't born as both, he just had a 'condition' as they put it that gave him female hormones or whatever im really not sure since they glossed over it so quickly like it meant nothing. And if he was intersex then I'm even more mad bc of the way they kept calling it a "disease" that got "fixed" like wtf. Maybe it's just me but it somehow came off as transphobic to me. As someone under the trans umbrella I really didn't like it. I've dropped it. Only good thing it had going for it, the rest was kind of boring (that's just personal opinion though)
I enjoy watching short web dramas like this a lot. I have ADHD and cannot concentrate very well and having way short episodes makes it a lot easier to pay more attention and not get distracted (as much). The plot is pretty simple but I enjoy the occasional simple high school stuff haha. The acting is decent too! Nothing fantastic but I like both the ML and FL. FL is pretty good and ML is too, especially for being new to acting. I think he fits the part well.
