i havent read the novel but i won't describe the ML as a black flag, and neither a red. the first 2 episodes are showing his mask, but fromt he third one you can already see that is not really like that. i do prefer red flags characters , at least to keep the pretence until half the drama, so for me this is too soft too soon. But of course this is my own personal preference. i still love this drama, i love how the leads are already pairing for their unite revenge plot; but because of this i am now watching it with a different expectation.

me too, i do like this types of characters on dramas. one i have watched recentelyn which has mantained his craziness until the end was from Love & Bid farewell. i got so obsessed with the actor that i am now on a mission to watch all his short dramas... 😉

it is crazy indeed. i have watched the first available episodes too and the quality of evrything is above average, from the acting, as we are dealung with experienced actors, to the costumes, photography, the fighting scenes, the plot... everything is definitelly above 8, if compared to other scored higher.

i have stopped checking MDL's ratings as none makes sense and unreliable.. they've have a very strange alghorism that i am yet to understand, some say it is an average of all the ratings on each episodes, some said that verified account users's ratings have a higher impact on the overall rating than the ones not verified.. i really do not know what to believe anymore... but i understand many users like to create several profiles for.many reasons: fun, add ratings, add sudden thousands of "flowers" to let their fav actor riding up to the top of the leaderboard in just a few weeks .. so, ratings on MDL are not really important, if you enjoy a drama, just enjoy it 😉
