i rarely get annoyed by annoying characters, but this Xue family! 🤬 i normally chose not to watch dramas with harem/court politics as really takes my nerves, the higher in hierarchy alway try to suppress the low ranked.. i just cannot stand it. but as i am hooked to this drama, i have to take the consequences of this well written conflicts and deal with it 🤣🤣🤣
Xie Wei is very well calculating the best safe 'escape' option to the Yan Family, he then gets into his psycho mode, kills and he then takes some 'relaxing' pills 💊 .. i love these characters 🤗🫣🤫

yes, that looked strange to me as well as the guy didnt have any authority to be that disrespectful, or at least the 2 royalties could have intervened. but i havent read the novel so i am not sure about the behind the scenes or deeper reasons behind such a lack of reactions.. or perhaps they just wanted to avoid any conflict that could have lead to worse? i am not really sure.... 😕

i am watching both and i prefer SOKP because of the script, and the depth in characters development... but , and it might sound contradictory, i prefer BaiLu acting performance on OFL becasue i find her better performing in more phisical dynamic roles better for my personal taste ( example in Jiu Liu Overlord and from the Legend, basically i like her in action). saying that, i find OFL one dimentional, it is about long stares and less action, nearly a wasted potential on those 2 great actors.. but i can also understand the satisfaction when watching this super slow romance. For SOKP there is so much happening that you might need to rewatch the same episodes twice to understand some details.. final score solid 9 to SOKP , and perhaps a 7.5 to OFL . but it is my personal view only and viewers just like differetn things, so you might also disagree with my comments and it would be absolutely normal.
