i have to say that most of the episodes I have watched do have English subtitles... and the rest... basically i simply stare at those beautiful people making fun of themselves... eheheh

yep LYF is such a great Melodrama ( i call it melodrama as lot of crying and painful endings for some of the characters 😁😁😁

nicely said! i personally prefer XL, but I won't mind any end game really, as they all love her, differently. So even though as viewers we might be siding for one character or for the other... but at the end I will be happy with any really :):)

thanks for sharing this great review on the main characters, I agree with everything you have said. And i am convinced that one of the reasons she doesn't want to give up on Jung is because of this girly dream of her: what she always wanted to achieve and she would have wanted to be if she was ever going to be a girl again... all of her dreams have been translated in her head as Jing, and she will do anything to keep that dream alive. even if that means to give up ( or nearly be afraid of thinking about it) to her soulmate ( a less "girl-safe "choice).
I also understand Xl won't give up to his loyalty to his foster father and teh army, as much as the other 2 male leads are not able to give up to other responsibilities /commitments ( one being the power, the other being the filial piety) at the end they all ask her to wait... in a way..
so I do not see any of the ML's better than the other in this contest.

But something we can see from the FL: yes, she has a strong will, a strong personality , but for me her weakness is that she is too quick in promising things, without thinking about the consequences or the sacrifices, and she will stick to her promise forever... that for me is what has prevented her from reciprocating openly her feelings for XL.... Also Jing knows about this trait of her personality and he let her promise .. to wait for him for a number of year, without even looking at another potential partner.
But this is also my personal view, so i hope no one here feels offended by my comment - we are all here for this fantastic drama and viewers are different and ae able to have different views on the same drama.

I am watching this drama on VIKI where i left my review on Lost you Forever, it is the same review i have posted in My Drama List, you can have a look out of curiousity.
Apparently in Viki a user has flagged my review as inappropriate because i have "Advertised" something... and thinking of what, the only third party that I have mentioned on my review to Lost you Forever , is a mention to My Drama List
... what are they 5 year old police officers? is this censorships ever happened to you? is it for real? oh my oh my... i will unsubscribe from VIKI because i do not like this type of dictatorship. I was born in a free country, i am lucky, and this mentality is far from my reality..
My DRama List is actually like a forum for Drama passionate, the website actually brings new customers to VIKI, so why they feel threatened by me mentioning My Drama list ? has anything like this happened to you?

i would say to watch it as it is a masterpiece anyway. and regardless who is the end game, relevant or not, it is so fascinating to watch the different characters stories ... i have a favourite one and i was nearly dropping the drama because in the novel he is not the end game.. but the plot is so interesting that i wanted to keep watching it.. there a lot of different types of strong emotions that will keep you glued to the drama, not all those emotions are romantically related. if it makes sense.
also, many people has started the drama shipping for one ML, to only change it later on as they were possibly unexpectedly taken away by another ML... it is a journey.. 😉🤩
