i see your point here, as you said every viewer has different expectations when it comes to romance and how fast or slow it develops, you won't find a single series that can make every viewer happy with the way the romance is developed...
I personally love AoS for the plot and, to be honest, the romance is not the main reason i am watching the series. I am actually enjoying observing the secondary characters interactions, I really like when a TV series gives space to explore them without focusing too much on the Main leads, and AoS has so many interesting secondary LEADS ( are they really secondary..?).
Also, i have to admit that commenting on MDL is definitely helping me in keeping the interest and curiosity alive between episodes, as it is like reading a fantasy book- this series has so much potential, it could continue for so many seasons without focusing on one couple romance only- i can see viewers in here are really putting a lot of analysing here, about the location , the history , family trees, it is fantastic and i wish there could be more "Official" websites on AoS where all of these researches could be published!
