Yes!! Let's not forget about Type dealing with his feelings and coming out, it was not properly done.. but it was there. All the mixed feelings that he was going through, I can relate to that. And we are even starting to have poli relationships, not properly done too.. but it's there. All of this are the first steps.
I would love to see a drama with all girls too, it would definitely be a rollercoaster one.
As for Mean, I felt really bad when joked about the money thing. People says that it was a joke, but there's a limit to what you should joke about. As a person, before being LGBT+, I felt disrespected when he said that if he needed money he would come back to entertain us.
As a LGBT+ I felt worse, because for me he was saying that portraying a gay character is a shameful thing and that he would just come back if he needed money. We are human too, why people should feel shame on portraying us?! I am really disappointed and disgusted with his speech. I am not supporting him anymore and I am not sorry for that, because what he said hurted me hard.

So, okay, there are a lot of points here.
I am not Thai or I do live there, but I do believe that some things are changing because of the boom that BL dramas had on the last two years. Maybe, 5 years ago if Mean had given the same interview the things wouldn't have grow so big like that. Because at that time those shows were really seen like that, but things changed now. If you have the opportunity to go through fandoms and etc you will see that right now there are a LOT of LGBT+ people supporting their works because of representativity. I don't know where you guys live and how things are there for the community, but I live in Brazil and here we are going through a really hard time for minorities.. and we almost get none representatives on TV.. so we look for shows in another countries. What I mean is: this growth is not only because of fujoshis. So, when he and Perth announcedd that they were not doing BL Dramas anymore the majority supported them. Everything went wrong when Mean said what he said, because as I said: not all of us are fujoshis and he disrespected the LGBT+ (he did it in my opinion). Anyways, right now this kind of prejudice is starting to fall down: actors like Krist, Saint and others who started at BL are growing in the entertainment industry without coming out and saying anything about their past roles. Things are changing at slow steps, but are changing.
I do understand and agree that most of these shows have a really wrong portrait of what the real community is, but it's undeniable that they are opening doors. Just like japanese dramas with independent and strong female leads opened the way for more powerful female representativity on Korean dramas on the last year's.. and we could say that having one openly gay in a k-drama was because of this boom too (not just it, I know), and we are having the first k drama with the main leads being lesbians. What I want to say is that having this kind of shows are making people at least talk about it, and this open doors for us to be heard too. We need space and they are opening those doors.
I am not saying that everything is perfect, on the opposite: fandoms are really toxic places and it must be really hard to the actors to deal with it. If it was me I would probably go crazy.. but as one of the cast of WHyRU said on a interview this week: "it's 2020 and things are changing".
I am just pointing out some ideas that I have. I am a pan woman and I am 29.

If after this interview they plan to keep moving forward the project for this season, they should change Mean. It's almost impossible for us to support a work that has people who does not respect us publicly.

Now that Mean disregarded all the fans and the LGBT+ community on his interview today, let's just cancel this second season and focus on making TTTS season 2. Let's not forget to not support Mean anymore. Thanks!

Yes, now I must confess that after TTTS I am a huge fan of Mew, but I don't think I am biased. As I watch his interviews and some events, I can totally see why he didn't said anything to protect himself during that time. He seems like a very caring person and I personally think that he is very mature. You can watch this by the way he talks and act, more like a man and less like a kid. That's why I think some people says he forgave him already, to me he just let the past be in the past. Although he is a caring person, he can be a hot tempered one too. So he just let it be to avoid more fuss about his personal life. It's not easy to come out.. About Art being in another BL series, it would be too much hypocrisy. How can you show this much disregard and disrespect towards the LGBT+ community and expect to be accepted again?! The problem is that we have too many people that are part of the BL fandom community that don't belong to the real LGBT+ community, and that is not a problem when you know how to respect and recognize things. But sometimes, like when all Mew x Art thing happened, they can't understand or see how much this was wrong. The fact that we are starting to have some representatives on TV (although they are steriotipes) is huge for us, and this is like the doors are getting open.. so we should be angry when situations like that happen and we should cancel the person who did it.

Yeessss! I didn't like WTD, so I didn't even finished watching this.. but I love MAME works, so when I heard about TTTS and got across all this situation I got so angry. Not because I was a fan, but because I am human and I am bi. I couldn't imagine someone doing the same with me, and I can't even imagine me being on silent during all this shit. I started to like Mew there and after TTTS I am looking really forward to his next works. I really hope he can get a lot of success, I cheer for him. For Art, I just wish that he learnt from his mistakes. But I can't and will not watch any of his shows.

He is the innocent kind of person and he will stay like that, but obviously after what happens some things will change.. I dunno what to expect from Gun at this season, but right now I'm really having a hard time getting over the end of TTS season one.. so I still believe that Mild's Techno was the greatest. Anyways this season 2 will come with a huge responsability, ever since the amazing achievement that TTS had.

No and Kla ends up together, if the series continue to follow their novel. I'm not a huge fan of this plotline too :|~. I really hope that they can give us something more interesting about Tum and Tar... because not just in LBC but also at TTS, their side story is just so so so... T___T

PS: I will really miss Mild as Techno, he is just so more similar to the novel character.. and his performance was like 10/10. After all No is just one innocent person, not a "dumb" one like Gun did.

As I wrote: there were things that could have been done better. Yes, they could have talked and explained the issues better, but I don't think that what they did was deserving the kind of hate that you expressed on your review. I can affirm to you that there a lot of ways of dealing with traumas, although I do agree with you that looking for a therapist is the best way out there, but not everyone is ready to do it and there are lot of therapists that are full of prejudice and bullshit. I went for some hell of shit during my teen years and although I went through a lot of therapists, I only could go on with my life when I met an ex and it was this person who could make me open up and talk. I am just saying that not everybody is ready to listen to you without prejudice, being it a profissional or a friend. Before this person I went to 3 therapists and all of them looked at me with prejudice amd that made even more sick, people are just people and not everyone is fit to their profession. Now I do have a great therapist, thanks god new people are comming to this field...
Anyways we can't forget that we are talking about a thai BL drama, and that in that country issues like LGBT are things that are dealt in the darkness. Even in countries like mine where this subject is now more discussed, it is hard to talk about things like rape and traumas.. imagine in a country where eveyrthing is going under the table. That's why I don't hate the first episodes, and I will say again that they could have done it better.

I read your review with one open mind, but I can't really agree with you. There are a Lot of ways of dealing with traumas, and opening your heart and talking about It is the First step to start It.. and that was what Type did with Tharn. I can't agree with the blowjob comment you did for the same reason, Type was getting attracked to Tharn before that and they showed It.. he himself said "why i am thinking about you?!".. and after that they Just for close to each other after Type allowed.. Anyways It was Nice to read a different point of view and I am not here to attack you.. Although I think your Review was narrow minded, I do agree that some points could have been done better. Okay, first you should tag your comment as spoiler. Second: Type doesn't even know anything about Tharn relationship with Tar, and Tharn just discovered that Tar was going through some problems after they broke up. I do agree that sometimes Type is a little too much, but I don't think he is a monster like you described it. We can never forget that we are watching a young couple relationship development. and most of times we all go through shit things like that... I don't wanna see Tharn sad too, but he chose to lie and keep things from Type and that was also wrong... anyways I love this show and how they grow as person week by week, after all growing up is nothing more than getting to know our own selfs.

I am glad that we are getting to know Tharn a bit more.. I do understand how you feel about Type, but it's like someone Said below here: he is going through so much at his life right now, he is finally learning How to deal with himself and with his feelings.. so some of his reactions are quite expected. BUT this is the time for Tharn to speak up, like he did at this episode. As I said I am really glad that It seems that from now on we Will learn more about Tharn. I Just love him so much, he is so patient and caring.

PS: we can't forget that they are both really Young, so their relationship can't be really mature and stable.

After reading some of the comments, I would like to point some things that some people are kind of forgeting:
1. Since the beginning Tharn was always sincere with Type about his own feelings.
2. If you think about it, when Tharn pushed Type to think foward about their relationship he was waiting for the "boyfriend" answer. But Type changed "sex friends" to "casual lovers" that is the same thing.
3. Type has a lot of to deal with his inerself. and that is okay since he went trough a lot, but he is aware of Tharn feelings for him so the least he should have done before start dating another person was being sincere with Tharn.. we call this "affective responsibility" or empathy.
That being said I would like to add that I am loving the progression here, we can see week by week how much Type is coming out of his own cage with the help of Tharn. And I really hope that next week Tharn will put Type at his place, although I know that he will suffer a lot with Type new fling.
