Really? If we're talking about acting skills, he doesn't have it yet. And do you really think personality doesn't influence on how their career goes? I give to him that he can sing really well and, for being so young, he can improve. All I was saying is that, for me, overall he doesn't have the sparkle that the others have and, for that reason, I don't understand why the hype on him.
I'm sorry for the fans, but Fifa is the most boring one at this season. I really like Porsche, Wave, Pung and Pete, they look the most genuines here for the new ones. I love Ryujin too.

I am not saying you are wrong. The BL culture has a lot of issues, but in my opinion its just the first step. We have a lot of good shows that are done really well. And for the sibling thing, in my family we are 3 sisters and we all are queer in different ways.. so that's not unrealistic for me

No, I don't have to accept that. I know that my comment here will not change the world, but, maybe, can change the mind of one or two persons. The reality is that if we keep "accepting", things will never change. Any minority should have representation in main streams. And, the worst part of it, is that many people will come to this show just for the "bromance" queer bait.

Of course it is deep. We are living in 2024 and the only motive they had to remove the romance plot is, of course, because the core of their society still is homophobe. Just read some of the comments below and you will understand how deep homophobia is. It is always a huge step to see LGBTQ+ in the main stream.. IT's wrong and although I really, really love YCY acting, I will skip this.

I am so disappointed.. they have like 1000 hetero plots and novels out there.. why they take a BL and make into a straight one? I love YCY, but i will not watch this just for the censorship

I can't even call those BL, they are legit LGBT+ shows and they are a masterpiece indeed.. and yes, there is a difference between the genre. Now if we talk about BL, from 2023 we had IFYLITA, Last Twilight, Bed Friend and Laws of Attraction that are really worth to watch BL's.
NOW, OKAY, I AM REALLY WORRIED ABOUT THIS ONE You see, nobody expected SWM to get this huge because of all the censorship thing.. but they made it, because their chemistry were amazing and Xu Bin could bring another version (a more human one) of the original character. I'm kinda disapointed, 'cause I really hate this novel, but Addicted was my first BL years ago and STW is one of my fav. chinese BL's (sharing the first place with TU). I really loved the way they made the plot more light and less abusive/toxic. I really like the casting of the supporting roles, NewYear and and Jur are really cute together and they could make it in HBL.. but, come on, for a project that it's obvious that the main objective is to use the BOOM of STW they should had cast another actor for SY/BLY role. And they should have picked a better director, 'cause the directing was a + on the chinese version. *sigh* Everyone will come expecting to watch what we didn't get to watch in the chinese version.. and please, there are a lot of actors there, who are newbies and 18+, that could make it. Now, this can be amazing, but we will all start it thinking about the age of the main lead actor and we will all judge this too. For last, I feel kinda sorry for Mac and August.. but let's wait for the result.

but in the early episodes all we could see about their interaction outside school was with Dream's family... it's pretty clear that Night didn't wanna his family to get to know Dream, as his dad is a horrible one and he has issues with his own orientation

It's not that I dont like Frank.. it's just that his acting skills dont seem to improve.. all his works looks like his first work. And please, dont say its the editing or the writing.. when we talk about BL we all know that we can't expect these two factors to be excelent.. but, most of the time, the acting make it better.
