Then in the next scene, Daeho was soo shocked because the body wasn't there when Taeju caught him (of course the body wasn't there because he had already dug it up before, right?)

I do think Siyeong was sincere to Taeju during their teenage days, until his father and brother (they are evil since day one of Siyeong's life) ruined everything.
