I think it's jwageun not byeongin. You already know the reason. Jwageun wants to keep control over the king by planting fear inside his head (killing his family, his hidden troops, and the bomb) so that the king will think he has no power to beat kim clan and become toothless puppet king.

I don't think byeongin was involved in spoiling the ingredients, what's the proof? It's Kim jwageun and other older Kim clan. But he was involved in catching the king's hidden troops(?)

I'm also confused about this. Does she remember her past memory with byeongin or not? Most of her memories are back tho, but it looks like she has no memory about byeongin judging from the way she behave in front of him. Or maybe she remember about him but she just doesn't care because it's not important.
