i totally get you, and i agree it could possibly work in a non-predatory way considering u su is also a young teacher. I guess my main issue is that he was way too involved in eui ju's everyday life in school AND outside too (he was practically her neighbour tbh) It would take some really convincing character development to shed that student image and not make it seem like he already liked her and was just waiting for the "right time". A simple time jump in the last episode is not enough time for that like some ppl were suggesting (and im rlly glad that didn't happen!)

Also the fact that she actually confessed to him, and he never firmly rejected it and the ending being kinda vague and open to interpretation is already a bad start for me😩makes me not trust the writers to handle this with the care it needs.

I can maybe understand if they totally lose contact for some years (and we actually see their stories & growth seperately, not a time skip!) then have them meet in totally different circumstances and also have eui ju fall for him again as an adult, not just a continuation of the hs crush with it only being him who suddenly sees her in a new light. Any romance between the two honestly is a dangerous path that the writers would need to be very careful in how they develop it.

there's no way so many of you actually want the student-teacher relationship to happen 🫣 idc how many years have passes it will always be weird to date someone who was your student in hs! especially considering how close they were during high school 😷

I'm loving this show so far, it's really cringey at times but in like a good funny way 😂 fingers crossed they don't turn this into a love relationship between the student and teacher cos that would ruin it for me 🫠

every other relationship in this drama is more interesting than the main couple imo and i knew i wouldn't like the ending smh. Soljiwan tho>>>🥹 wish we got more scenes with them or a spin off 😭
