A True Masterpiece - Both Drama and Novel Brought to Life Beautifully
To My Shore is an absolute masterpiece. From start to finish, this drama captured my heart in a way very few BLs have. It not only stands strong on its own, but also honors the original novel in the most respectful and emotionally rich way - especially the ending, which stayed true to the source.
Yun Qi as Fan Xiao - I still can't believe this is his first ever acting role! His portrayal of an obsessed lover is flawless, nuanced, and incredibly compelling. You can feel every layer of his emotion, and he made the character unforgettable.
And Hao Yi Ran as You Shu Lang honestly, he's on another level When he cries, I cry. When he smiles, I'm genuinely happy for him. His performance is breathtaking, and his presence on screen is absolutely beautiful
This series surpasses all the BLs that came out last year for me. The chemistry, the storytelling, the performances - everything is top-tier. To My Shore is exactly what I call a masterpiece.
