aw! sweet..! I always liked her after seeing her in ALSB, and try to watch her dramas. . The thing about her.. BTS of her dramas makes you wonder how they will edit it all together.. most of the time she cant help laughing... ! But the dramafans are pretty unkind to her... esp the during the making of Smilecode and Lin Yi stood up to defend...her.. may be all that makes me want her to succeed in this...!

Actually I left FoF... bcoz you cannot watch bits and pieces of FoF, dramas like these we have to continue watching bcoz there are so many characters being introduced in each new episode we loose track.. I really liked the few episodes of Fof I watched.
Dashing Youth is good. Such a big cast and so far its pretty funny.. but I know things get pretty aggressive towards the end... I am on Ep 17 now.. I wanted to watch it earlier for He Yu, after I saw "Legend of Sheli" . He did good acting in that and here also, very complex character role and he is doing a good job..
There is hardly any romance if you want that in drama, Also this is more lighter... ! Neo Hou is like a teenager here.. where as FoF he is more sinister and mature....lol!!
BTW I havent watched The Blood Of Youth, which everyone compares this with... which has a stellar rating too..

I am rewatching in between other dramas... and I must say... the Director, the story, the main leads and all the characters, the music and the BIRD ... all are sooo good, and acted so well. There isnt a single episode... that didnt put a smile on my face at sometime or other ... jeez the fisher folks disguise of Xing Zhi and Furong... For all the teasing Xing Zhi did on Shenli... she is giving back.. when they came back to Mortal realm.... Xing Zhi looking at the mermaid and asking can I stew this..... Jeez. it seriously cracks me up...!! and that phoenix creation was amazing.. it acted just like Shenli.. holding her head high and swinging the stick like a spear..... such and awesome drama...!
Now that it all ended, there is no point i feel dissecting and feeling bad or wishing a different direction, I couldnt understand why they needed that Xiyan side, siblings, crazy stupid father... all those got nothing to do with the main drama...... I am alright with the ending... both knew what its going to be and accepted. But I felt bad for QinYan.. after the fights with the CP his hair style changed and the red cloak.. made him look more dashing and important figure.. when he told his wish to stay with Jinghe, I knew he is gone..! and usually they kill of the second best... Also Wei, the chubby guy, was such a happy figure.. why did they kill him off...
Xiyan plotline ruined this drama very badly. Crown prince plot was dragging, but I feel like they could have done…
Exactly... what was the purpose of Xiyan siblings in the story.... and why he paralyzing / removing martial arts of an Assassin...? the whole story is lost there....!!
Pls tell me when u find out, it's like he has everything but luck on his side
Liu Yu Ning. .. yes.. but Dream within a Dream will come out only in 2025... me too I like Li Yi Tong the female lead... I like her ... i like to see both are good.. Song Zuer is also good... I am assuming you liked, Here we meet again... then, you should try Amidst a snowstorm of Love... I think thats the best love story... I have seen.
