agree with Dahlin, having dropped more than a dozen K‑dramas along the way, I’d say this one lands on the better side. im 90% jdrama-er btw.

kdrama does really good job at making us watch characters cry or join them crying... they should just add thriller suspense stressful frustrating to the tags instead of comedy

Strengths
Tight pacing: 10 episodes, no filler.
Sharp social allegory: The pyramid mirrors real‑world hierarchies (school, work, politics).
Psychological battles: More about manipulation, alliances, and strategy than just physical bullying.
Debut standouts: Jang Da‑ah (villain) and Shin Seul‑ki impressed viewers despite being rookies.
OST: Tracks like Higher and In the Dark got a lot of praise for atmosphere.

Weaknesses
Heavy themes: Intense bullying, stalking, and violence — not light viewing.
Logic gaps: Some viewers found it unrealistic that parents/teachers had so little control.
Ending: Different from the webtoon; some loved the twist, others felt it lost steam.

Lost interest very quickly. Very small, narrow, and limited filming topic that became repetitive. Struggled to finish… 3/10
P/S: this kind of show i move on to shortened bot reader on youtube, only 105mins playing at 1.75x cost me only 60mins instead of 19H heheh. Still take all what they need to says and move on to the next hoping to find a show i can watch properly.

tvn hands down the best producer as far as i watch kdrama

they tried to make every criminal psycho and let cat play with its preys for hours before sending them to hell. dropped, even with fast forward and 2X speed isn't enough. 1/10

1% comedy, 50% cat playing with her preys, 49% unnecessary. 1/10 kid show sh!t show, save your 17 hours of living life or watching at 2X plus fast forward at least

-kid show -quarreling at court like kids nobody gonna stop -unnecessary emotional -president and everyone around him are clowns trying to be serious -judge play need for speed with random dude... that same dude lost the race and got mad like a kid, yelling cursing but not dare to fight or even grab opponent's jacket... like a crying kid... convince me to give it more than 1/10

things you should know: it's somewhat satisfaction but too convenient and repetitive. The ending is really crazy not in positive way. Base off cheap isekai: the lead is OP asf while the allies are little to no help. They even setup a harem but no romance, all actresses are single at their 30s lol etc. Despite the flaws i rushed 1.5x til the end. Lucky enough there are shit loads of content to explore than a typical isekai or similar drama, so its bearable. I would give it 8/10. no rewatch tho hehe.
P/S: the fighting is really good tho, wish to seen more but they skimmed down a lot :(

it's a good watch, posted my review 9/10. a bit dragging at ep 8~11 but the ending is worth the pain.
walking slow from ep 1~7 is great especially with decent audio setup.
one of those i feel empty after finishing and hesitate to move on to the next drama lol; so i go read the webtoon then.
