disaster imo

Makita Aju (Yonaga Aki) why is she allowed to cut into the boss conversation... never seen assistant like that in any dramas. Her scenes are grating and annoying af and her acting is a disaster.
The show is good though; gives some chilling and uplift moments in the later episodes. a solid 9/10 without Aju

lol now that you mention it "meet me after school" sounds extremely loaded, potentially scandalous tone.

Watched in 2019 willing to explore but unconvincing so I dropped. Still bugging me hence the rewatch in 2025. This time i take it slowly and come to appreciate all the subtle details and the incredible micro‑acting. Haraguchi gotta be the coolest supporting role i could remember, almost all her moments are deep and fun at the same time.
My take on ost/cinematography/production are similar to many people here: very impressive. I’ve always preferred dramas over movies at any rate, and Chuugakusei Nikki proves that more than ever.
It's controversy only contribute to it's popularity whether ppl like it or not, fun to scan thru some of the comments lol. Like this

too slow even for 12min/ep, the comedies are off. kinda disappoint

omg im in love, Uchida Rio played so good still young and cute after many years. she should be honored main cast imho, actually better than the male lead.
Any mod reading this pls make Uchida Rio main role. She's no way a support at any rate!!!

first impression, the directing created the atmosphere like I'm sitting next to them, not like watching a show. its kinda cool

good and cute actresses but the plots are shallow, bland, boring, predicted, old and dumb especially toward the end.i dropped at ep 9 after fast forward and speed up x2... dont waste your time.

great shows. altho i never like sports but i still enjoy wholeheartedly.
The production is way too clever i wouldn't surprise if people not appreciate enough. the last 2 episodes are the best. tears of joy.

look promising, many of the casts are older gen but all are familiar to me as they are all good actors. The male lead i haven't seen him much since Zaizen Sensei 2004 hehehe
