Brother or sis I don't know where exactly is that cringy scene that you saw but overall things you said yeah at first it felt similar to the previous serie of hers that I still sticked to it becuz of the great combination and the first two episodes that fully seduced me. I'm in episode 11 and my thoughts on this mom and daughter relationship is that if I had a mum like that comes to me after growing up with her bad treatments to a child plus being favouring one of her kids and icing the other. . .no human would have come this far from this and (hug) and cry to a mum like that. Seriously it's not possible it's too delusional for me. She might have considered the child her mum lost, alright but ahhhh this is a rich family, that's why.
