Exactly my thoughts. I finished it a few hours ago and I was so disappointed because I started out loving it. I'd even regretted not watching it before now because I saw Manner of Death years ago and have had Triage on my to-watch list for a while.
Only for the last three episodes to happen. It turned a thrilling and enjoyable story forgettable. By the final episode, I just wanted the story to end so I could move on with my life already. It's just really disappointing. Just like you, I was sure it was going to be a favourite.

Yeah, this! It was so jarring to see that. I'd rather we just get verbal references to Uea's abuse by that uncle person rather than more flashbacks with the child actor.
