yeah I saw those comments and quickly blocked them. Sigh.
Then why not simply call it equality? The reality is that feminism has been pushing the boundaries for a long time, it has not been for equality for a long time, and it does villanize men, we see it every day. From my point of view, what is happening right now in the comments section is that you have basically the twin reaction to feminism on the men's side. So you have men who cannot stand even one man being the villain in a story, and they will instantly cry "Feminism" and "Misandry" and what not, in the same way that feminists cry " Sexism" every time a woman is even slightly criticized. It's pitting both sexes against each other in a very bad way. And honestly the show doesn't look to me like it leans either feminist or anti-feminist. It just depicts a universal truth, most people are good, but, you do have some bad men out there, and some bad women out there.
This drama turned into feminist bullshit real quick. Did anyone notice man is always wrong in it. Women are beating…
It doesn't feel feminist to me. Yes, you have men portrayed as villains, but there are just as many women shown in a bad light. Everyone here is bashing the ex wife, and rightfully so, she is shown to be an awful woman, and then you have the crazy mother who was litterally destroying her son's life with her smothering. Then you have the whole issue of the FL's parents giving away her sister, but the FL only seems to harbour resentment towards the mother, and it's presented as an issue that the mother has. Then you have the second FL's mother in law who looks and acts like some caricature of a Disney witch. So it looks to me like it goes both ways.
Dude, you seem to have a lot of pent up anger. Chill out, go do something fun, and maybe find yourself a girlfriend. It's still assault when a woman does it, it's still wrong to do it, and with very few exceptions, like Canada ( but who the hell cares what Canada does) women are just as liable criminally. If a woman hits a man, that man is perfectly free to press charges, and if a woman gets hit, she is also perfectly free to press charges. Considering the fact that in most cases the damge done is also measured when bringing charges, yes, men will face much higher penalties, because they inflict much higher damage. Yes, it is wrong for women to hit men. It is also wrong and beyond stupid to pretend that the damage inflicted by women is equal to that inflicted by men.
His ex-wife’s character is so confusing. What did she mean by if he stuck around he would’ve been the father…
I think we either don't know the whole story, or, considering how selfish and self centered she is acting, she might blame him for her falling out of love. Like his more distand and less affectionate behaviour after the abortion equals him bailing on her.
Considering that a woman's slap would at most cause a sting and some redness, but a man's slap could literally break her nose or send her to the hospital, I don't think it's annoying at all. There is a reason why men are less emotional and they show more restraint.
It's not about internal rule or not, the main point here is it's the ML who initiated and set that rule up ....so…
True, but that is just the kind of conflict that usually appears in films. It's called drama for a reason, and it makes it more interesting if he ends up in the situation of considering breaking his own rule.
Last 2eps cases made no sense all we got from them Is fl is pretty made the bad guy let them "win"Today…
I don't think his treatment of the Alzheimers lady was purposefully mean in any way. First, we are not shown any evidence that he knew she was right and his client was guilty. And she did in fact forget his name 20 seconds after he had said it. If we didn't have the scene at the beginning where we see the car plate number was correct, how would we know she was right? Take away that beginning scene, would you believe someone with that level of Alzheimers can be a reliable witness and sentence someone to prison based solely on her testimony?
I wish something happens between the main leads. But till ep 7 not hint of romance, just shown how they like and…
I don't know, to me it does hint romance, even if it does it in a very subtle way. Like the way he tells her that he started talking less but he talked about everything with his wife only, but now he's basically talking to the FL more than to anyone else. And then she tells him that time heals wounds and that person can be replaced. To me it reads like a very typical slow burn, the only thing that doesn't make sense is that they only have 5 episodes left, so It doesn't feel like they would have time to proper develop it unless they do a second season.
why this actor keeps getting roles? wasn’t he a criminal?
I wish people would stop bringing up stuff from the star's personal life. The guy was acquitted of all charges, 9 freakin years ago. Why are we still talking about this, and why in the comments section for a show? If people are that invested in every little thing that this actor does in his private life, just go to a freakin gossip website and talk about it to your heart's content there.
do not watch the main actor is a sexual hassaulter
That's a funny way of saying he was cleared of all charges and the woman who accused him was convicted of making false allegations. Stop bringing this nonsense here. People just want to talk about the show, not the personal lives of the stars.
You’re not going to get much if any agreement here. There are a huge group here obsessed with them having a…
I think the reason why there are a lot of people pushing back against the no romance idea is also the fact that the series was very obviously going the romance way from the very beginning. It's obvious if you look at the trailers, it's obvious in all of their interractions, and it's obvious in the opening credits which conclude with a love heart behind the title. It doesn't seem to me like the romance is going to be very pervasive, the law will probably continue to be the central element of the story, but the romance is definitely there, and it's been there from the very begining. So I think for me at least, I don't understand why people who don't want romance would choose to watch this series when it's obvious it has a romantic element to it.
